Overcharged and No Way to Reach Anyone — Disappointed
We were here for a bachelorette party and I ordered 10 Cookie Shots, thinking they were $5 each. It was loud, and I genuinely thought the bartender said $50 total. I was shocked to later see my card charged $150.
After checking the menu (photo attached), I now understand the shots were $13 each ($8 + $5 for booze), which would be $130 — but that still doesn’t explain the extra $20. I also left a cash tip, so I shouldn’t have been charged more. (They are a cashless place)
I’ve tried calling several times to resolve this, but no one answers and there’s no voicemail set up, which is really frustrating.
The vibe of the place was great, but the lack of transparency and follow-up left a bad taste. If you go, double-check your receipt and be cautious about ordering when it’s too loud to hear clearly.
UPDATE: They admitted the overcharge, told me to DM — then deleted their reply and ghosted me.
After my original review, the business responded publicly and confirmed the shots were $13. They told me to DM them to fix it.
I DMed as they asked — they read it and never responded. Then, they deleted their reply to make it look like nothing happened.
No phone line. No voicemail. No reply to email. No accountability. Fun bar, but if you have a problem… good luck getting any help.

Katie and Daria are INCREDIBLE! This was such a fun place to come for a night out. The bartenders worked their butts off and were kind, helpful, fun and just an overall good time. Make this your next night out!
Possibly an odd comment, but their bathrooms are so clean! It's not the norm to go into a bar bathroom and feel like I don't need to be careful of where I touch.

One of the most unique bars I’ve been at! Anytime I’m in willoughby, this is the place I stop at. The bartenders are always friendly and the food trucks are always good. I love the variety. Katie has made this place worth the hour drive for a night out!

I hosted my wife’s birthday party in the party room at The Yard. The venue was perfect and there was minimal set up needed on my end. Katie was super helpful and accommodating with everything, from beginning to end. She truly did an amazing job! If you are looking to host a party somewhere that has a great atmosphere, all at an affordable cost, I would highly recommend looking into The Yard!
**Editing because Katie was wonderful and the bouncer apologized for their mistake, which I really appreciate!** PLEASE HIRE ANOTHER BOUNCER. I was literally there yesterday with no issues. Walk to the gate today and hand my out of state id to the bouncer on a power trip who looks at my id for two seconds and tells me “can’t let you in”. Says that there are two other people he already let in with NC id’s and that they look different than mine. LMAO OK. There was a cop standing right next to him and I told him to run my id. Cop says “we don’t run ids”. My friend who was inside waiting for me and I left.

Parking: A little limited when it's busy. I got lucky and found street parking right in front so I'm not sure about all the options.

The Yard on 3rd is the Best outdoor patio in Lake County!The GM, Katie, is Top Tier in the Service Industry and in putting events together!The food truck line up is always stellar, and the drinks (non-alcoholic, as well) are great!This is a great place to bring family, friends, pets, anyone to relax, eat, and hang out while listening to great music, playing games, or even catching up!
