I LOVED this place. I am always scared to order martinis places because sometimes they taste too strong or not very good and for the first time in a while, every martini I ordered tasted great. They are all delicious and well made, even the food and atmosphere were great. Staff is also friendly- so I really recommend!

My husband and I stopped at Woodroom late on a Friday night. We had been there many times before but always earlier in the evening. We instantly noticed the clientele was much younger than what it was upon our last visit , as was the staff. The bar was not overly crowded , people at the bar and one table with 4 people at it. We took a seat at one of the hight top tables. There were two bartenders behind the bar and one waitress. The waitress never acknowledged us, walked past our table numerous times even seated and served her friends that had come in after us. After waiting and being ignored for 20 minutes we left . To say we were disappointed is an understatement. The staff was immature and unprofessional. We definitely will not be spending any of our money there in the future. I gave them one star because zero was not an option

I was home visiting family and my sister and brother in-law loves this place so I was so excited to check it out. They had a very extensive martini menu but I was in the mood for whiskey so I had a manhattan, it was made well and balanced so no complaints from me. Since it was the only whiskey based drink on the menu I went with an old fashioned as my second cocktail and it was perfect! The staff were so nice and chatty which is always good at a bar. My only complaint is it was tight on space so my family of 6 sat at the bar and anyone who knows me knows i hate sitting at the bar with more than two people because its hard to hold good conversation. Otherwise we had a great time and i'm looking forward to coming back to try a few more of the martini's. My brother and brother in-law were particularly fond of the godfather so thats one to try.

Wasn't sure what was happening when we first walked in. Several middle aged drunk people greeted us telling us there was no seating. Then a waitress came and sat us. Sad that they had NO local wines but their charcuterie board was good. Not a bad spot for a quick drink.

I visited this place a few time with family members, and it's always a good time. We love the different martini's but the Godfather seems to be a fan favorite. There is also a nice wine selection. I like the intimacy of the place but it can definitely get crowded. The staff is really friendly and don't mind answering any questions we had about the drink menu. They also have a nice selection of food. Some of our recommendations would be the pizza (my family orders everytime), the fries and of course a charcuterie board.

My family and I frequent this place and we're quite disappointed the last time we visited. Our server I think his name was John, made us feel unwanted, I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day or what! Regardless, we decided to return and was pleasantly surprised we did! I believe his name was Dan, but he was so welcoming and made sure to get our orders right! It's so nice to have such a wonderful person working in the service industry these days & I hope every time we come back he is there! Don't be a John, be a Dan!!

Our first time at Wood Room was awesome! The atmosphere was great! The staff was welcoming and very attentive! The food was excellent! Great decor, they had the outdoor fireplace blazing it was beautiful! Highly recommend!

"If you eat and your drink it, then you're paying for it" said the pretend owner/manager Heylee. We had been here multiple times over the last 2 years and had spent hundreds of dollars, but after the way we were treated, we will never set foot in this establishment again.Things started out slowly where we were seated at a high top with only one other couple at the bar. The waitress/bartender spent 15 minutes with the couple going over every possible drink combination before even thinking to ask us what we would like to drink. We put our drink order in and things were going well.When the third person arrived, we ordered a couple of salads, a pizza to be split by 2 people, and a burger for me. The salads and pizza came out after about 15 minutes, but no burger, and after about 10 more minutes we wondered where the burger was. At 15 minutes post-pizza arrival, and having to actually flag someone down since no one asked how we were doing, we asked about the burger. The waitress checked on it and then apologized that somehow the order for the burger didn't make it, but that they were cooking it now and it would be coming out in a few minutes.More than 15 minutes later, still no burger and I caved and consumed one piece of pizza. The burger comes out, 40 minutes after the pizza, and Heylee tells us that it is comped because of the wait. My wife's politely asks "That's all? He just got his dinner and we're already done." Heylee immediately attacked her with the "you eat it and you drink it, you're paying for it!" I said, "Look, we've had a drink and wine, and I'm starving, and I ate a slice of the pizza due to the wait." She sneered something back. At this point I lost it and stated she could take the burger back, that we've come here many times before, but won't be returning. Heylee then escalated things saying we would not be invited to return and that we had disrespected her.Never in my life have I experienced such blatant disregard for the customer.....how dare she even talk to us that way, and, more importantly, how dare she speak to my wife in such a disrespectful manner. Good luck with your career in managing restaurants Heylee because we certainly will not have a good word for the Woodroom as long as you are there! You have zero customer management and retention skills, and, by the way, the food is not all that good, but your customers don't notice it because of the heavy pours for liquor and wine that have them half inebriated before the food arrives. Anything tastes great when you're intoxicated!

We recently had a party in one of the reservable rooms that the Woodroom offers. During the party we had pretty exceptional service throughout the party despite being in the room that is not connected to the rest of the bar. Throughout the night we had only one specific bartender who continuously came out to serve us. He unfortunately was the only bartender who was running drinks between two different parties. In between his service we did spend plenty of time waiting in the cramped bar space attempting to get drinks. Towards the end of the party as tabs were being closed he disagreed with a tip that was left. Unbeknownst to the party, in the contract signed in order to use the room there was an expected 20% tip agreement that the Woodroom could charge a 20% tip if they deemed it necessary. Rather than notifying his manager of the tip the server deemed it necessary to raise his voice and berate one of the party members in regards to a tip that had absolutely nothing to do with them. Exclaiming that the amount that was left was absolutely ridiculous , and that SHE should handle the tipping and yelled “WHY DON’T YOU TELL ALL YOUR FRIENDS WHAT A TIP IS”.After this outburst by the server management was notified of the situation and handled accordingly. The manager was very helpful and apologized for what happened. Overall the experience was a good one.

Started out fine. Original server was a girl and it was a good start. She recommended things to us and was very attentive. We were told that everyone was our server and we could get service from any of them. When the male waiter came around to get our orders, we told him specifically that one of the girls was a vegetarian and if he could make the pizza without sausage. He brought the pizza out and it has sausage on it. Which she didn’t realize until after she ate a few bites unfortunately.The waiter didn’t want to hear that he made a mistake. Didn’t apologize, just repeatedly argued with us that we didn’t tell him and instead of listening, he interrupted us by saying so what do u want me to do? We had another pizza made without the sausage. When the bill came, He charged us for both pizzas and when we asked him to take it off the bill, he openly said that if he knew he needed to take it off the bill, he would have thrown the pizza away instead of leaving it on the table. None of us touched the original pizza other than the first pieces that we grabbed with the sausage. So when he came back, we gave the pizza back and told him to throw it out then and he said have a good night ladies. He was being very condescending. I will never go back and I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. The martinis are just okay and the food sucked to be honest.I almost gave no tip, but decided to leave 10%.I have never left such a horrible tip in my life especially on a bill that was over 200 dollars. And I’ve never even thought about not tipping someone, but today I did. None of us will never return. Worst service I’ve ever received.
