We love the food here but the last 2 times that we’ve been there the service is awful! For a party of 4 it took them an hour and 20 minutes to bring us our food. Tonight, 40 min and they just put our food on the grill. I do not understand why they aren’t working more food at one time. It’s close to home but I highly doubt we will come back here

we have been to rods many many times and always like to support local restaurants. we used to absolutely love their burgers and fries and would tell everyone to try it. The last two times we went the food wasn't great. The fries were cold and not crispy and the burger was much smaller than it used to be. very disappointing.

WANTED to like this place as the Cincinnati Enquirer just did an article about it. Other than the fact it is a family place and prices were OK everything was bad. Oh, have to admit portions were VERY good. Service was SLOW. My "Double Rod" burger was grossly overcooked and completely dried out. Our cheese fries must have had the cheapest cheese topping on it as possible...barely edible. My wife's ham and cheese had the salty, processed ham on it and another cheap type of cheese. Yecch. Total "food service " quality.

Waitress told us to sit wherever, but all tables were other occupied or dirty. Service was pretty slow even though there were only 3 other tables occupied. Had to find a waitress multiple times to get drink refills. Food was okay, similar to trucker stop quality.

I just wish I knew about the half order of onion rings . They were delicious,just couldn't eat them all
Well another try at Rod’s Capricorn Inn. We used to love to come here but last 2 times has been terrible!! Food is still good but make sure you have at least an hour and half to eat! Took over an hour to get our food plus our server was pulled off the floor to help in the kitchen. Ok I get that but when this happens another server should pick up the tables instead of letting the people sit with out even a refill of there drinks for over 30 minutes and then the person had to go ask someone for another drink! Very frustrating!!! Capricorn get some help for Friday and Saturday nights is all I can say. ☹️

Delicious.The best burgers around. Get the Double Rod. Love the peanut butter pie and cinnamon rolls, too. Definitely go out of your way to stop in here sometime.
