Heard good things & was my first & last time. Only got a glass of water. Waited over an hour, never seen food or appetizers. When I went to the desk to ask, even where our appetizers were, they informed me they don’t give appetizers before the meal on the weekends. So after an hour, wait you don’t get appetizers. You don’t get a salad. You don’t get your food. You just get a glass of water and watch everybody else in the restaurant eat and then take yours home and then to go box cold. When we asked for our food to go on a box waitress came out and asked how do you want the pie? I told her my wife was in the restroom. You took her order. What did she want and she got smart with me. Totally disrespectful.

Rod’s is hands down one of the best places around! The burgers are unbelievably huge and seasoned to absolute perfection — every bite is packed with flavor. The fried mushrooms are an absolute must-have; they’re crispy, golden, and addictive.
The service is just as impressive as the food. All the girls working there are total sweethearts — friendly, attentive, and always smiling. You can really tell that the ownership has put a lot of thought into crafting a menu that fits exactly what people in this area want.
If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. Rod’s nails it on quality, service, and that perfect hometown charm.

First time visiting, stopped in after a day of fishing near by. Our server Jaylie was awesome. I got a “small” chef’s salad… it was huge!! 😯 Definitely a must visit when near by!!
