Gas Lite Restaurant & Lounge

My first time going to Gas Lite was for a private event and it was awesome. They were well staffed and made great drinks at the bar. The food provided was also delicious!

This is the best family oriented restaurant in our area. I love it here?

No ribeye here-Only have NewYork Strip and they encourage to butterfly it so it doesn't take 30 min.The place was open but didn't look like it from the front.

A local dive. The service was good but the only thing good about the food was the beer... skip this place unless you're drinking only!!!

Stop at 4 p.m. was closed when even their answering machine states they are open at 4 no cars in parking lot no sign on the door I guess another failing business in Wintersville. I waited till 4:10 and left.

I'll be surprised if this place lasts another year.

Was there with friends. A few of us got pasta. They didn’t serve any bread was told we should have asked for it. My wife got a $12 meatloaf dinner no roll or bread, average slice of meatloaf and some potatoes with gravy so she ordered a salad, was $4 and was as small as my dinner side salad. I ordered lobster ravioli was $14 and I got about 8 raviolis in red sauce....red sauce and not white. Small side salad....large price small serving not even mediocre food.

Walked in and was told to sit anywhere while she finished her personal phone call. We had reservations so we had to look for our own table. Then they spelled our name wrong. Then I was rushed through ordering from a limited menu. That was not mentioned when we made the reservation ...within the first 5 minutes I felt like leaving. I was so cold by the time my food came I couldn't feel my fingers. Only good thing I got was my $19.00 lobster tail. Mushrooms were cold like they just poured them out of the can. Steak was underdone ...huge disappointment. My server ignored me on all levels. I won't ever be back. I tipped my rude server 12% due to lack of doing her job.

Tonight was our first (and last ) visit. I rarely ever give a bad review anywhere but this place is so substandard I can’t help it.First of all , the portions are puny. Our salad bowls were only half full. The pasta portion that came with my chicken Parmesan was barely existent. What restaurant doesn’t serve bread or rolls ? We spent $140 and left hungry.Second - the service was horrid. Our drinks never got filled. They forgot my husbands cole slaw and my daughters salad. It took 20 min for me to get sweet n low for my tea.Finally , the food quality . The sauce was supposedly home made . Not something to brag about if you dint know how to make sauce. The mashed potatoes were instant . The steak was good. But why does a restaurant that calls themself a steakhouse only serve one cut?

well the first two times we went for the all you can eat crab legs it was ok not bad the 3rd time very bad experience and we mentioned our displeasure to bartender actually we should of been refunded but anyways left there and went to Capris for sandwiches because crab legs were so terribly cooked we barely could get any meat and was hungry !! another thing restaurants boil crab legs i don’t know why steaming them for approximately 11 to 12 minutes is much better than boiling them

The only star of this place was the waitress. She was very nice and worked as hard as she could to remedy the other issues.Other than that, the only way to really enjoy the food and atmosphere at this place is to heavily partake in the spirits they serve. Once you have a few hard drinks in you, you might not notice the lackluster food, or the outdated (and damaged) tables and chairs.The food is way overpriced, and they anly serve canned drinks... For an upcharged rate.Would not recommend.
