One of the best all you can eat lunch specials you can get in the area to be honest!! I had a blast! Kudos to my server parker who made it all more enjoyable!

My server was absolutely amazing — definitely a 10/10 for her customer service. Unfortunately, I was really dissatisfied to find larvae in my edamame. The manager explained that the edamame comes in frozen and not from their kitchen, but the thought of a bug in your food is enough to ruin your appetite. Instead of comping our entire meal, they offered a discounted price and didn’t charge us for the leftover food. The atmosphere was very nice, but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

Just got the lunch special for take out. Two sushi rolls with miso soup: the cucumber avocado roll had a hair in it. The miso soup tastes sour. I'm worried I'll get sick

When I got my chicken and shrimp hibachi it was cold then when I asked for a new warm one you could clearly tell they put it in a microwave. On top of that someone at my table sat with an empty water the entire meal and was never ask for 45 minutes if they wanted water.

when the food was brought out it was cold. We asked for hot food and they came back with the same plate , less food and it seems as if they microwaved the plate. Took a long time for the food to come out and that’s why it was cold.

The staff was very nice but I likely will not be back. The shrimp and chicken hibachi was not very tasty. The chicken was beyond overcooked. I also had to wait 20 additional mins for my order. The yum yum sauce was watered down as well... not something I'd expect from a place that just opened. To be fair, the portion sizes were large and my maki roll was decent. I hope this location gets better.

Very good and fun experience, it is 30 dollars each but all of the food was great. It is all you can eat! But they do charge 11 bucks a pound for what you order and don’t eat!

This was my first time trying this type of cuisine. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Everyone’s so friendly. The staff explained how it works and was patient. My server was awesome. So attentive and courteous. The food was amazing. Great flavors and cooked to perfection. I tried their chicken hibachi, sushi rolls and crab ragoons. I wish my stomach could hold more it was so tasty. Their prices are very reasonable. They do have a fee if you waste food which I understand ,because people will cost you unnecessary money by taking two bites. I highly recommend and I will be back

Simply put, this place is understaffed. Because they were hosting a large private party, they alienated other diners. We waited over 20 minutes for a table despite the restaurant being half full. The waiter did his best to accommodate us but he was swamped. The food was fine but the potential for being charged for “food waste”was looming over our heads throughout the meal (because the waiter reminded us twice). Very off-putting. The ordering process for the all you can eat menu was confusing and inefficient. Overall, a very disappointing experience….we will not be returning anytime soon.

We ate here on the fourth day after opening, and the food was great! I’m so glad this concept came to Tucson, I’ve been missing NY Sushi Restaurant. Tao, the manager, seated us and was very friendly and welcoming. Our server, Alex, was also wonderful and kept checking on us throughout the meal. We loved the Kani Salad! So happy to see it on the menu! The fried rice and steak were also excellent, and the sushi was freshly made. I can already tell this place is going to get very busy! I hope they continue to maintain the same high quality of food and service.

We LOVE Kintaro! This location is amazing. Fast service, high quality sushi, great atmosphere. We tell everyone we know to eat here. I am gluten free and the servers have helped accommodate me every time I go.

I went there with my family and deeply regretted it. For starters, the waiter never gave us our drinks even after we ordered, even after I politely asked for the 3rd time. Then, when the food came it was cold. So cold that it felt like it had sat out for at least 30 mins. We were disappointed so we asked the manager for some assistance. When we told the manager what happened, it was clear she had an attitude. Instead of coming up with any type of solution, she just keep going back and forth with us. In all honesty, I would NEVER recommend ANYONE to go here!
