The food is great but whoever takes orders over the phone and works the pick up window pegs the meter on rudeness and incompetence. A 50 year Hero House family tradition has ended due to her behavior.
Cheese steak deluxe. Everything on it. Get the bun toasted, you donut! Little more pricer here but worth it. Take some chipotle tobasco sauce and put it on the cheese steak deluxe. Real onion rings. I generally only come for that sandwich. Better than jimmy johns (can make this at home), subway(same with Jimmy's), Jersey Mike's (overpriced small portions)

We tried their Vegan and Deluxe Cheesesteak. Both were excellent! I can't recommend this place enough. Their cheesesteaks are up there with all the legendary places we tried in Philadelphia. Definitely well worth a visit.
