Always great food for a great price! Large portions too! Great service and a nice walk through downtown Worthington to get there.

Saturday night dinner around 7PM for 2 people with no reservation. We were sat immediately and greeted promptly. We had fresh guac and chips and salsa to start. The guac was a chunky style with a good amount of tomatoes. The guac was really flavorful but the texture was different. I had the enchiladas supremas and the other person had al pastor tacos. The meat from the al pastor was diced nicely and tasted on par with other al pastors. The reason I am disappointed is the chili relleno. It was sad. It was simply a steamed chili with shredded chicken inside and a rojo salsa on top - and absolutely no cheese inside of the chili. The chicken was good, but I almost felt like I got hustled for $6. I've had some amazing and nt so good chili rellenos. Unfortunately, this may have been one of the worst ones I've ever. I had pretty high expectations for this place, but the food was lackluster. The service was friendly as could be and quick. I really hope the food improves because I would love to go back for the friendly, prompt service.

My coworker used to service dishwashers and he told me about this place. Specifically that it is one of the cleanest kitchens that he has ever worked on and that the food is great. He was right! My partner and I went last night and we were not disappointed. She had the Yucatan chicken and I had two beef chimichangas and a chicken enchilada. Everything was so flavorful. I felt full afterwards but not full of regret. I was driving, otherwise I would have tried the huge margaritas. The parking is sometimes tricky. We had to find a side street, but a full parking lot is a good indicator of a great restaurant, so I ain't even mad.

Kid-friendliness: I saw kids there. And crayons and coloring pages.

First time ever going here and we got the Carnitas (pulled pork) nachos. They were the best nachos i’ve ever had! Only a couple ingredients but bursting with flavor! Also the booths were very comfortable to sit in as well!

Nice small town restaurant... the service is horrible. We waited at the bar with a menu and had zero contact with the wait staff for more than 15 minutes so we left. Been here twice now and can't rate the food as we can't even get served.

Weak. Do yourself a favor, skip this place, go to Zacatecas which is only a few miles away.

Chapala’s is a new joint that opened in downtown Worthington and it is worth a pit stop if you’re a fan of Mexican cuisine. The staff were friendly, service was excellent, food came out quickly, and my waiter was attentive but not overbearing. There’s a cute patio out front that begs for you to sit and enjoy a beverage at during the last of the summer nights remaining. Decor inside is modern, pleasant and welcoming. Will be back.
