This Dairy Queen really depends on who is working. The part time staff seem to make everything right and it’s good. Unfortunately depending on the day or time you will get things like unmixed shakes, not asking if you want whipped cream but leaving a bunch of space for it.
However for a $6 regular shake it’s a waste of money now. They cut back on blizzard toppings unless you ask for extra which is $1.50 more, making a regular sized blizzard $12. Yes. $12 for a blizzard… As for food you can get a burger, fries and shake from five guys for the same money and it’s tastier with much larger portions.
I’ll stick to graeters in the summer for ice cream, it’s right down the street and at least paying that much I’ll get great service and great ice cream.

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!!! I used to work at this before the ORIGINAL OWNER sold it BEERYS last location is the shrock rd Dairy Queen. I’m surprised that they are still running I made a corporate complaint when I left because the new owners are absolutely disgusting one of the owners took the kitchen knife to cut weeds outside and washed it once someone told me I went to the knifes and knew exactly which one he used because there was still dirt visible on the knife they are extremely cheap I almost couldn’t get paid because there checks are soo cheap the machines can barely read them the manager took his brother out of grill and threw someone else back there his brother was messing up every order he took everytime I’d correct him he’d tell me I’m wrong just for the customers to tell him that he is in fact wrong but it’s ok because i picked up their slack and made the right order but they still charged them more the manager like to take what the icecream machine can’t suck up and put leftover mix in milk cartons we once realized once the ranch started tasking sour and we make it fresh but he never labeled to milk with icecream mix he tried to make me use it and said it tasted good I told him no and grabbed an unopened milk so that ik the ranch is made correctly the manager was thrown in that position he only had 10 years of grill experience he was extremely ride to all the minors talking to them any kind of way it was to a point we all wanted to sue the only time he was nice was when the old manager and owner would come by to help him with either paperwork or the machines because he didn’t know how to fix them please avoid this location for your own health ik they own at least 4 other locations a couple out east the only one I trust is shrock because ik they clean how your supposed to

Blizzard was good, food is expensive for what it is but everything is expensive these days.
I had one piece of chocolate in my entire mini s’mores blizzard. They definitely need to step it up. The burgers looked like something that could be microwaved

Since new ownership within the past couple of years the store has gone way downhill. Blizzards are awful, they don’t give enough toppings or syrup….never made the way they should be (just compare to any other DQ, you’ll see the difference). They close the inside way early and kick you out before the hours they have posted. Live right next door to the place, but now drive 15 minutes away just to get what I actually pay for and not feel like I’m being pushed away. Just awful.

This DQ used to be great. The service was excellent and the food was good. Now it’s quite pricey the people working here are beyond rude and the food is terrible. I have no desire to ever go back. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
