Gourmet Fresh Catering

Gourmet Fresh was the provided caterer for our wedding venue, Retreat 21. We catered our rehearsal dinner and reception apps and dinner. Wow! The food was sooo good! I was bummed when everyone kept walking up to us to say hi, because I just wanted to keep eating the tasty food!! Haha! Also, all of the staff were very friendly and sweet. Highly recommend!

I never think of wedding food as amazing—but Gourmet Fresh Catering completely proved me wrong. Wow! Every single bite, from the appetizers to the main courses, was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. My husband and I were so pleasantly surprised, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how good the food was. It truly elevated the whole experience and made our day feel extra special. Thank you to the Gourmet Fresh team for going above and beyond—we’re so grateful!

Gourmet Fresh catered my wedding at the Darby House this past weekend, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park!

We did the hot chicken bites, charcuterie, and strawberry bruschetta for apps, all of which were amazing (we didn't even ask for this, but we missed our cocktail hour and the caterers made sure we had samples of all our apps at our table during dinner!) For dinner we had preset feta and pecan salads, the airline chicken, and the butternut squash ravioli and both were AMAZING! The ravioli was topped with fried sage and a delicious herby butter sauce, and the chicken was well seasoned and moist and all the vegetables that came with the dishes were delicious. The staff themselves were so friendly and went above and beyond to make our day easy and special.

Gourmet Fresh catered our wedding and it was absolute delicious! We have been receiving rave reviews from our guests on the food! Absolutely amazing!

Catered our wedding this past Saturday at the Cove on WatersEdge! My guests cannot stop talking about how delicious the lamb chops were, and how fresh all of the vegetables tasted. The food tastes like each plate had a lot of time and love put into it, which was a very lovely touch to an already perfect day. The plates are aesthetically pleasing in a way that guests were taking photos of their food before eating it. Extremely attentive and kind staff. They have a lot of delicious vegetarian options, as well. You can tell when a catering service cares about quality food, and this is one. Cannot recommend them enough! - The Lillys

Gourmet fresh worked with our venue (retreat 21) for catering and honestly, every single guest was extremely complimentary of the food for our rehearsal dinner and for the wedding. People said it was the best wedding food they’d ever had and we 100% agree! They were amazing, and the service was wonderful working with many guests with food allergies.

The food, prep and display were all perfect for our wedding! Would highly recommend! Our wedding guests had nothing but great things to say about their meals!

We had gourmet fresh for our recent May wedding and they exceeded all expectations!! Our guests were talking endlessly on how good the food was! The prime rib, mediterranean chicken and the vegan/vegetarian options were all a hit! At our tasting we were greeted with warmth in an amazing atmosphere! All communication was prompt and respectful and we couldn't be happier!!

Jenn worked really closely with us since my now husband and I live out of state, which was so appreciated! The food was absolutely delicious! Beautiful bright colors and very fresh!My only complaint was that they ran out of food at our buffet style wedding at The Estate at New Albany. We were unsure if the buffet style was the best option but we ultimately went this route because we were reassured many times that they would not run out of food (on the bright side they donate extra food, which I love). Unfortunately, the night of our wedding, we ran out our potatoes and bread. This was very upsetting to guests and as the couple hosting the event, we were saddened to have disappointed guests. Jenn ultimately took care of the issue but I don't think this should have been an issue to begin with. (A picture of our tasting food, so good!)

These folks know what they are doing! We hosted our wedding reception at Edison777 and so many guests commented that it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Additionally, the wait staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommend Gourmet Fresh Catering!

Buffalo chicken dip, mixed fruit in waffle cones, and flatbread pizza apps = a must! Delicious and I wish I would’ve eaten more.We had the surf & turf (shrimp) and Mediterranean stuffed chicken. We mixed it up and changed one to a seasonal veggie option and customized our salads. Both meals were delicious and our guests were asking for more!The dessert display was also a big hit. It was a nice touch to throw in something sweet other than cake!

Not only was the food outstanding, the catering staff that worked that night went above and beyond to make sure our guests had everything they needed! I highly recommend the meat & potato skewers for an appetizer! For our dinner we chose buffet style and had braised beef short ribs, lasagna primavera, roasted mixed vegetables, and mashed potatoes. I want it all again because it was just that good! We got compliments all night from our guests (and still do!) about how good the food was and how nice the catering staff was. I’m so thankful and highly recommend! It was delicious!

Gourmet Fresh was our caterer through The Estate at New Albany. We had a fantastic experience with them! Their service was outstanding and so efficient. We loved the asiago chicken and stuffed shells at our dinner!
