Food was good, but our waiter was horrible. He cared about the prom kids more than us, and I think we saw the manager more than him, and we didn't see her a lot either. Not happy for being my 1st time there.

Very disappointed in our meal and experience. Server was polite but forgot items ordered, messed up credit card charges on 2 orders, did not serve us individually... had us pass down plates to each other. Food quality was poor. Tasted like it was from Costco. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to J Lui.

The food was just bland. Pasta diablo had no spice, steak lacked salt or seasoning, the poke bowl had very little tuna, the fries were not fresh cut, we had to get the attention of a different server and then our original server was attentive. I wouldn't go back.

I hate to post this review, but I have to. I used to love this place, but there's a problem here. The food has suffered and the service is sub-par. We had a party of 11 and half of the group had issues with our orders. Numerous drinks had to be sent back and same for the food. My Tuna was so salty it was hard to eat and chicken for a couple others in the group was absolutely nasty. Something has happened here and it's sad. This had been a great restaurant but no more. I won't go back.

It was a night of celebration with a group of friends. A perfect place for that as it is not too noisy and seating is comfortable for a group of 6. Food was great with lots of choices and the service was outstanding.

We went for Easter brunch and it was phenomenal! All the food options were amazing. Customer service was amazing. We sat at the bar area by the food buffet and were originally concerned it would be crowded but it wasn't and the noise levels were great!

Ladies reunion from Watterson class of 1969. 15 women came and had a great time with lunch. The food was excellent and seeing everyone was extra special!!

I ordered the $70 Filet Mignon and I have had better sirloin steaks from lower grade chain restaurants. My wifes chicken was rubbery and rice was over cooked. The service was terrible. The hostesses were snobby and rude who act like they are a 5 star restaurant, but was one of my worst dining experience I've had in years.

I had lunch there with a large group of 10 or 12. The waitress was attentive at first - got our drinks and took our orders. Then we waited a long time for our food. Considering that they were not at all busy, this was puzzling. Oh well. My salmon salad was very good. Then, we had to wait again to get our checks. I went up there at some point and she assured me that she was getting them ready. At that point, they were still not at all busy. Just a few tables at the south end of the restaurant and a few more at the north end. I'd hate to go there when they're busy.

I went there last night as I have eaten there in the past and it was good. I saw seafood I was looking for on the online menu but it was different at the location. Sat at the bar and it took 5 minutes to even be acknowledged even though the bartender was finishing with a couple next to me and walked by several times. Finally the girl that was on the other side came over and helped me. She was very nice and helped with my selection. Food was good. I gave him cash for the bill and asked for change but he didn't break it so he wound up with a smaller tip which was probably what he deserved.

We did Thanksgiving and it was fantastic! Those who don't like traditional food were able to enjoy a great selection of food.
