Haven't even gotten to the point of doing the consult. Not sure what happened. I was in coms with someone there via text, and all of a sudden it was giving off strange vibes. Not sure if she was drunk, communicating with someone else, or if was getting homophobic. I'd be very weary about starting business as this was very unprofessional on their end, ans both my partner and I are very uncomfortable with this exchange.

Jan Kish owns and operates La Petite Fleur. She has produced the most extraordinary cakes for so many years, that she is affectionately known as The Cake Lady. And, for good reason. She recently made a birthday cake for my brother, who shot his first Hole-in-One in July 2023. Jan found an aerial view of the hole on the golfing club’s website and produced the most amazing cake I have ever seen. Everyone at the birthday party was just agog when the cake was revealed. And, it was as delicious as it looks! Jan, The Cake Lady, is simply a master craftswoman and an astonishing talent.

Stunning Wedding Cake - Exceeded Expectations! We were fortunate to Jan Kish - La Petit Fleur create our wedding cake, and the experience was truly exceptional from start to finish. From our initial consultation to the last bite of cake, every detail was executed flawlessly.Firstly, Jan took the time to understand our vision and theme. On the day of our wedding, we were in awe when we saw the cake—it was not only beautiful but we requested an intricate design, and so we appreciated how much time this took. The craftsmanship was impeccable, and every element was meticulously placed. Now, let's talk about taste! The flavors were simply divine. We opted for different flavors for each tier, and each one was incredibly delicious. Every tier was just the right balance of sweetness, and cake's texture was perfect. Our guests could not stop raving about how incredible it looked and tasted.Aside from the cake itself, working with Jan was a pleasure. She was responsive, kind, and accommodating throughout the entire process. She listened attentively to our requests and made sure everything was executed to perfection. Our wedding cake was not just a dessert—it was a work of art that added a touch of magic to our special day. We are beyond grateful for Jan and her outstanding work and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding cake that is both visually stunning and incredibly delicious.Thank you Jan for all of your hard work and bringing a show stopping cake to our unforgettable day!

This place should be out of business already. Please do not trust them with your special day. Our consultation was amazing, and she sketched out a cake which was light blue, with sugar spun seaweed in a cage around the layers with bubbles and small fish. There was a red flag when I got a call 3 days before the wedding, check to see that I wanted blue frosting. I am not an expert but 3 days for a cake that costs over 2k, with sugar ornamentation, should take longer to make. Then comes the day off to start the cake should have been delivered around 12- which my grandfather stayed at the venue to receive. Missing other events. After frantic phones from myself, my sister and the caterer. The cake finally arrived at 6PM, my reception started at 6:30pm. They only delivered the cut cake and not the extra sheet cake for the additional 200 people at the wedding. When this error was pointed out they did return to the location and bring back another cake- frozen solid and then set it next to the cut cake. They later sent us an additional $700 bill for this cake. Even though an extra cake had been paid for on the original invoice. This cake looks like a child's blue with sugar gum pieces glued on. It was not elegant at all!! I was devasted as this was one of our splurge items and I just asked the photographer to cut it out of all of our photos. They also offered a service for someone to come and use a sword to cut off the top of our champagne bottle. Our wedding as a long dress and tuxes affair. The person who did this service showed up in a very wrinkled khaki pants and shirt.update: I received a response from the baker, saying I must have muse have the wrong bakery. I have receipts and multiple witnesses that this is bakery we used. I agree with her assessment in her response that she should be out of business and not in her 44th year of business. The fact that she does not remember the cake and yet it is still a sore spot for my wedding is deeply upsetting.

Just being 100% honest...after doing our due diligence with several cake tastings. All of the cake designers decorated a lovely cake, but Jan Kish/La Petite Fleur also focuses on the couple, getting to know them, the flavor combinations and quality of the cake plus fantastic design!! It was a no-brainer to go with Jan. Plus my future son-in-law was psyched about Jan's champagne sabering service! We feel totally blessed Jan was available on my daughter's special day!! ❤️.

My best friend got married this weekend. I tagged along to have a final meeting with Jan regarding the wedding cake. Jan was awesome - listened to *exactly* what the bride wanted. She offered suggestions that elevated everything. The best wedding cake I've ever had. All around 5 stars.

La Petite Fleur has created several cakes and cupcakes over the years. Mostly birthdays and other family celebrations. Every experience is wonderful - she is a creative genius, artistically interesting, and a great communicator. Plus, the cake is DELICIOUS. Highly recommend!

Jan cakes are beautiful in pictures. That’s is the reason I chose to do a consultation. However I was a little disappointed. I kinda wish I would have not wasted my time. I brought pictures of the cake that I had in mind and the colors of my wedding. She literally looked at it for a hot second and then proceeded to find a picture of her own. She showed me a picture and I did not like the color or style. When I mentioned to her that I did not like it. She proceeded to say I can change the color and still use the design, not understanding that I did not like the style AT ALL. She even criticized the colors I chose for my wedding, which I thought was inappropriate. We spent almost and hour and half talking and looking at pictures of cakes she previously did. It did not seem she was really interested in what ideas I had about the cake and the simplicity I was looking for. She just went on and on about these cakes that were no where near my style or desire. She even went on with this sabering thing, that I had no interest in. I’m not even serving alcohol at my wedding. overall the consultation was a big waste of time. I did not get any of my ideas across and she did not seem very interested in doing the cake that I had chose. My suggestion would be to actually listen to the customer and get an idea of what they really want and try to add to that, instead of completely ignoring them. And rabbling on about cakes done years ago.

Jan created a wonderful birthday cake for me! It was utterly delicious and spectacular to look at (her award-winning white cake, with raspberry jam between the layers, and chocolate frosting with chocolate ganache to finish...)

Jan did a cake for my mom's birthday a few years ago and my mom said it was the best cake she ever had. So, when my parents' 60th wedding celebration came up earlier this year, we went back to Jan! We chose her most popular flavor, the raspberry creme, and it was delicious. But, the look of the cake was so special. Sixty years ago, my mother had a small wedding and wore an embroidered suit/vest. Jan based the design of the cake on it and it was so special to my parents and a real work of art. Jan was easy to work with and had great ideas. She suggested a small two-tier cake, so my parents could take the smaller tier with them on a short trip and share their special cake with friends. Jan also made sure we had what we needed to pack everything up after the event. Thank you again, Jan!
