I just came in and sat at the bar and ordered takeout. My soup was missing the crispy tortillas and the cheese quesadillas that were supposed to come with it. Fajitas missing tortillas and half the things they advertised having with them. They did include about a teaspoon of rice. This was just horrible. So basically I just flushed $65 for dinner down the toilet. I’ll never be back.

Wanted to like this place and support new local businesses but it was not a good experience. For three of us and a bill of $90+, I'm not sure what we paid for. Place is not competitive with other go-to's (like El Vaquero). Have to pay $4 for chips and salsa which are identical to those $0 elsewhere. Burrito comes with zero sides. Other entrees were so-so. Husband sick all night after being there (same with the other reviewer Benjamin Logan who appears to have been there at the same time). The only plus is that you can get brown rice (not just white). Service was mediocre (not the server's fault as seemed to have too many tables) and ambience is sports bar (so many TVs) but it's just a mexican place. If we want Mexican, we'll go elsewhere for more-or-less same food and better ambiance, service, and price point

Food was absolutely disgusting. Service was horrible. Asked multiple times just for napkins waited over an hour to get our track after we were clearly done. Eating food was covered in Greece. Salad had no dressing at all. There was missing items from our orders. Taco Bell would have been a better choice as much as I hate to say that. I do a lot of reviews on here, but this one I truly wish I could give less than one star they do not deserve the one star they get. It has been five hours since eating there and I am now sitting in the ER with signs of food poisoning. Do not waste your time money or health going to this shack

Great Mexican restaurant. Happy hour specials from noon to 7pm. I had the chicken nachos and guacamole. The nachos were loaded with chicken but could have had more cheese. The guacamole ? was delicious with the hint of lime!

My most recent experience with this restaurant was very disappointing. I ordered online. For my Mexican cheese steak tacos, the menu says that they are served with refried beans. It used to be that you had three options for your tacos: 1) order them individually and get whatever number of them you wanted 2) order 4 of the same taco to save some money 3) order 3 tacos and a side. Now the only option is the three tacos and a side but different tacos come with different sides. I don't like refried beans so when I clicked on them to order online I was excited to see that it still gave you the option to pick your side so I chose rice and further down clicked no refried beans. When I got home with my food, there was no rice or beans. Also, I paid $4.99 for a small queso dip. Last time I went, that got me a probably 4-6 oz styrofoam cup of queso. This time, I got a 2 oz condiment cup that wasn't even full. ARE Y'ALL JOKING?!! $4.99 for not even 2 oz of queso. Look I understand times are tough but that is a rip off. If you gave me the same size cup as before for $1 more I would totally understand. But if you are going to change your sizes, at least be honest about it. Instead of saying small, medium, or large, you should put how many ounces you are giving us so we can make an informed decision. I am very disappointed in that dishonesty. I have loved this place since it opened and have been a very loyal patron. Right now I am unemployed and I trusted this place to give me a yummy but reasonably priced lunch and I felt cheated. I would expect more from a family run small business whose loyal patrons very likely kept them from closing during the pandemic like so many other small businesses had to. Do better because until you do, I won't be back and I won't be recommending this place either.

So dissapointed! We used to come here on a weekly basis but we took a break for like a month. Came back today and the service was HORRIBLE. Took 15 minutes for someone to come take the drink orders. Then we ordered ONE appetizer which came 35 minutes later and it wasn’t what we got. After we told the server, they fixed the appetizer order by scooping out the chorizo from the cheese which we noticed because of the remaining grease stains on the cheese. Eventually, only ONE item came out. 10 minutes later a couple more came out and after we were all done eating my mom and cousins wife were STILL waiting for the food. We told the server twice about it and took another 15 minutes for their food to come out. Not to say we also had to get our own napkins because she wouldn’t come around often. Unacceptable and so disappointed.

Don't be fooled by the unassuming facade. Once inside the restaurant is huge! I was here at 8pm on a Weds and there were at least 10 parties there. The service was friendly and prompt. I had the Hawaiian Enchilada. It was good, not a dish I have ever had anywhere else. The beans were more like a bean soup - they just seemed a bit more upscale. This dish also came with a salad which is great because I don't like Spanish rice. I totally recommend this restaurant. Next time I'll have to bring the family.

Food didn’t look good, tasted just okay. Place has gone downhill since a few years ago. Doesn’t seem fresh anymore.
