Good food. Good service.
I was a little disappointed and had been many years since I had been here and they definitely don't have a good variety on the menu anymore. Both times I went, there were gnats flying around in the morning. And the place was so cold.

3 orders in a row for pickup I did not receive everything I ordered. The 3rs time I called & spoke to the manager. She asked me to come back, I said no & she said she would mail me a gift card. I never received a gift card. Tonight I ordered online for curbside pickup. Pickup time was 6:25, I called at 6:28 to let them know I was there and I was told that I had to wait while they got someone else’s order ready since they were there too. I got my order at 6:40. While the food is good here, the service is the worst. Done giving this place a chance.

Excellent service, different dish, new to me, delicious! It's winter and it definitely could have been warmer, much warmer.

Grace was a super sweet, long time server who has clearly enjoyed her patrons. She knew many on a first name basis, took time getting to know them, nurtured relationships and even paid for a single elderly man's meal after asking him if he took his medication and had his hearing aids in; likely the highlight is his day and people like her are one in a million. I will revisit this location because of her.

We got there at approximately 3:30 and wanted coffee and a slice of pie. It took over an hour to get 1 cup of coffee and a slice of pie. Finally offered to fill our coffee up again took forever to come back for the 2nd cup and it was luke warm. Had to wait for a new pot to be made. Will not order Bob Evans desserts again. The size of the pie for $4 something was literary the size of a small muffin. Very disappointed in the restaurant.

My parents and I decided to grab breakfast on 11/16/24 at the Liberty, Ohio Bob Evans. We were told to grab a seat wherever we wanted to, so we proceeded to pick a booth. We then met our waitress, Sandra. She asked us what we wanted to drink and my mother and I said our orders and my dad was telling him his drink order and he was talking mid sentence as she just walked away from him as he was still talking. We heard a beeping noise so we thought she just had to rush to that noise, no problem. She came back to give us our drinks and my dad started to tell her he wanted a pop as well and mid sentence she walked away AGAIN! We were so baffled by how she kept walking away from him when he was trying to talk to her! She came back with his other drink and LITERALLY tossed the straws at the table and walked away. I actually had to ask my dad if he knew her in the past because she treated him with so much disrespect. We started to observe how she treated her other customers and it was nothing like the way she was treating my father. At this point we felt so disrespected we just wanted to leave and go to the Dennys right down the road (which had the best waitress ever!) Sandra returned to grab our breakfast order but I couldn’t stand any longer of her just disrespecting us for no reason. We told her we would just take the bill so we wouldn’t bother her anymore. She proceeded to apologize to us about how the kitchen is so backed up, but i don’t see how that would make her treat us like that. I actually would like to know what her problem was with us, we left so confused and bummed out. :(

They were very good at making sure all ordered items and silverware were included in the takeout order. The food was ready on time and was good.

I feel bad for writing this review, because Bob Evans was a favorite restaurant of mine for many years. In fact, whenever I lived in another state that didn’t have Bob Evans and would come back home, I would eat there about 5 times during my week-long trip.
Unfortunately, the food at this establishment just isn’t good anymore. This isn’t only the Belmont Ave. location but an issue at most Bob Evans restaurants. We dined in this morning for breakfast at this location and the service and atmosphere were both great! Our waitress was attentive and the restaurant was clean and had been updated nicely since the last time I had dined there. The food, however, was gross. We hadn’t been to a Bob Evans in a couple of years so I was surprised that the menu was updated (with updated prices, of course). I ordered the Western Omelet and it was almost inedible. The egg was rubbery and lukewarm at best. The vegetables inside of the omelet weren’t even sautéed. They were raw: raw, crunchy onion and bell pepper, which are gross inside of an omelet. It seemed as if the egg was cooked separately than the contents inside. The hash brown was ok, but again it wasn’t even hot. It seems like the entire meal was sitting out for 30 minutes before being served. It was pretty pathetic. The only thing that tasted great was the toast, which is hard to mess up. My husband’s meal that contained sausage was hard, overcooked, and barely edible. He will eat just about anything and never complains, and even he complained that it tasted strange. At Bob Evans, diners used to be able to get a good meal at a good price. Now, the prices are comparable to everywhere else and the food is subpar. I’d recommend dining at a local restaurant for breakfast.
