I always ask for Grace as my waitress. Food is cooked to my liking, especially the grits. I am able to enjoy my meal in peace.

Horrible policy of inflicting a BUS MENU without prior warning on my tour bus full of patrons. It did not meet special dietary requirements for some and its flat rate included a beverage which may not have been wanted and a cookie which diabetics could not have. Never again
Our waitress, Tracy was very helpful and courteous to our needs and was respectful to all of us .

Standard Bob Evans food, competitively priced for the current market but a truly outstanding service by server Capricia. I was charmed by her warm smile, attentive but not intrusive service and completely won over when she saw my brochure for Put in Bay. Her smile grew, saying Oh we just there and we had so much fun. She gave me insider information only a local would have, recommended hotels on the put in bay, and gave me info about Ohio.
This was helpful because this is my first trip to Ohio, flying blind here, but as Blanche du Bois (a streetcar named desire, Vivien Leigh, Marlon Brando) famously quoted, I've always depended on the kindness of strangers. And sometimes just sometimes, this pays off in the best ways.
Capricia, thank you for helping take the edge off my nervous self, feeding my body AND my soul!
If you receive good service from restaurant staff, hotel staff, please show your appreciation by giving them a few dollars as a tip.
Sometimes it means milk on the table for children or gas in the car so they can get to work the next day, picking up a better quality laundry soap then that cheap stuff that does nothing and, finally, makes their day a little easier.
Paying it forward is a beautiful thing and everybody is a little happier for it.

Good food. Good service.
I was a little disappointed and had been many years since I had been here and they definitely don't have a good variety on the menu anymore. Both times I went, there were gnats flying around in the morning. And the place was so cold.

3 orders in a row for pickup I did not receive everything I ordered. The 3rs time I called & spoke to the manager. She asked me to come back, I said no & she said she would mail me a gift card. I never received a gift card. Tonight I ordered online for curbside pickup. Pickup time was 6:25, I called at 6:28 to let them know I was there and I was told that I had to wait while they got someone else’s order ready since they were there too. I got my order at 6:40. While the food is good here, the service is the worst. Done giving this place a chance.

Grace was a super sweet, long time server who has clearly enjoyed her patrons. She knew many on a first name basis, took time getting to know them, nurtured relationships and even paid for a single elderly man's meal after asking him if he took his medication and had his hearing aids in; likely the highlight is his day and people like her are one in a million. I will revisit this location because of her.
