V2 has been one of my favorite restaurants in the Youngstown area for years. I’ve probably been eating here for close to 17 years, and they’ve always been consistent—great food, great atmosphere, and friendly people.
Tonight reminded me why I keep coming back. The manager showed genuine kindness when he didn’t have to. It wasn’t about the money—it was about treating another human being with dignity and respect.
In a world where customer service often feels rushed or impersonal, places like V2 still understand hospitality.
If you’re looking for a locally owned place with excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and people who genuinely care about their customers, V2 is absolutely worth your visit.
Thank you for many great meals over the years, and for reminding me tonight that kindness still exists.

We visited during the Federal Frenzie. Great atmosphere. We sat by the windows & could see the stage & people watch. Service was slow. But they were very busy. We got the stuffed Hungarian peppers. They were very over cooked. Inside sausage mix was like mush & the pepper was mushy & burnt on the ends. The sauce was good. Very flavorful. This was our first time here. We would give it another try. They are known for thir Pizzas.

We went on Sunday before event at Covelli Center and the place was packed. The bartenders were some of the best. They were all happy and gave great service.

Love this place. Edamame Hummus is my favorite here. They also have gluten-free options for an upcharge of $5.00.

It was absolutely wonderful, the food and service was fantastic. I recommend the meatballs with ricotta and the cavatelli in vodka sauce. You can tell they make the pasta fresh 10/10!

Haven't been here since pre-covid. We won't be back. Highly disappointed with the usually good calamari and burgers

Stopped in on our way through town, V2 seemed warm and inviting. The service was good, they did everything they needed to for being pretty busy. The food was good, we ordered a chicken salad, the special of haddock and potatoes, and a side of greens for the table. Our favorite thing was actually the greens, which were sauteed leafy greens served with pita/flatbread. While we liked it the best that wasn't what we were expecting from the description on the menu at all.

Nice place, good food, and great service. I went during a buckeyes game and a concert in town.... Although the place was packed, I was quickly seated and served.

Me and my wife have ordered pizza here a few times and it was very good. Tonight we ordered a Margherita pizza and an Arugula & Prosciutto Pizza. The Margherita was okay but the Arugula Prosciutto looked like it was put together by a child. They piled so much arugula on it that it looked like a salad. Kinda disappointing.

The worst place to have a rehearsal dinner! The manager, Harley does not have good people skills and is very rude. She did not realize that my call was not on hold and when they went to go get her and tell her I was on the phone in regards to my daughter‘s rehearsal dinner she said she didn’t want to deal with me. I called her five days prior to the dinner because she did not return my email as she requested me to email. The room that we had the dinner did not accommodate 35 people whatsoever and they decided to stop serving our pizza at their leisure. the wine was not put out as we discussed in the email And God forbid the bartender would attend to our guest in getting their drinks. I think McDonald’s would have done better with all that said the pizza were pretty good but not good enough to put up with that nonsense. I called to speak to the owner and I am still waiting for that call back
