Food was good. The service is severely lacking. We sat down and me and my husband heard them arguing who was going to take our table. We weren’t acknowledged or even spoke to. The first server said she was going to be our waitress and then said hold on and never came back. Then another server came to our table and said they were arguing who was taking the table.

We were promptly seated and ordered drinks, service started well, then after we ordered our food it was over an hour wait . The manager came out and yelled at 2 tables of customers for having a high chairs... food came out incorrectly made, burnt to a crisp hashbrowns, half the table didn't receive their food and when it was delivered the waitress was crying. Manager Ashley was extremely rude to her staff and the customers. I understand being short staffed, but she is why that is an issue. We did not eat half the food and I got very sick from undercooked sausage.We will not be returning. Waitress tried to fix issues but they were not her fault.

Great staff. Filthy ground in sticky floors and although table and seats were clean on surface the condiment stained, dirt covered window blinds were NASTY. Window seal has chunks of old dried up food and dirt all the way across. Since Covid so many places have gotten like this. SMH?

The Bob Evans we went to was on Maple Ave in Zanesville, OH. I used to work there myself and the store it's self has always been the best in town (we have 3)! The server that we always ask for, Amber, has been there for 11 years I think and it shows in just how awesome her service is! She definitely needs a raise!

It's a Bob's. Clean, friendly staff, attentive and food was cooked to order.
I know people now a days expect a lot, but when you go to an eatery, as long as the above are there and the service staff are all working as a team, including the cooks, I'm happy.
Definitely visit this location in Zanesville. They're great! And that's what a welcoming atmosphere is all about!

The toast wasn't toasted. The eggs were disgusting. The sausage on the biscuit wasn't done. The sausage was dry and cold. It's like this every time we go to the Bob Evans on Maple Ave. Zanesville, Ohio. Do something, or you won't have any customers to to serve horrible food to.
Over the years, the prices have creeped up, and the quality has creeped down. This only seems to be accelerating. The best part of the experience is always the servers. Very friendly and helpful. Everything else not so much. The management seems to be apathetic.They consistently mess up on large orders. If considering catering, you should probably consider somewhere else if being on time is something you value. But don’t worry, if you are unsatisfied, corporate PR will be disappointed to hear it, as evidence by all the bad reviews here.
