We have Dr appts in Zanesville. We go to Cracker Barrel afterwards to eat. It's down home food not fast food. We can take our time, relax, and enjoy a home cooked meal. In the winter we enjoy the fireplace.

HAVEN'T BEEN TO THE ZANESVILLE C.B. FOR TWO YEARS OR SO BECAUSE THE LAST FEW TIMES WE WERE THERE OUR FOOD WAS LUKEWARM AT BEST. SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD BUT THE LAST TIME WE WERE THERE I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER WHO SAID THE TEMPERATURE OF THE FOOD WAS UP TO CORPORATE STANDARDS. HOWEVER, NOT BY THE TIME IT ARRIVED AT OUR TABLE. WE GAVE THEM AT LEAST THREE TRIES AND STILL THE SAME. OTHERS WE HAVE TRIED DON'T SEEM TO HAVE THAT PROBLEM. ISN'T IT THE SAME CORPORATION? TOO BAD; IT USED TO BE A GO-TO PLACE. NOW IT'S NOT GO FOR OUR FAMILY.

We ordered pancakes, eggs and sausage. We had three cups of coffee while we waited for our order. People who were seated after us were server long before we were. When our meal finally came the eggs and sausage were cold! Our order was not complicated so it should not have taken that long!
Shame on me this was not our first issue with this Cracker Barrel so three times and I'm out! Not going back!

Their Rainbow Trout was spot on, great taste and value

My only complaint is the hostess drops the menus, napkins and silverware on the table. It would be nice for them to set them around. I set my table at home and expect the same when eating out.

I absolutely love this place and have been going here for years, But...the prices have gone up noticably..It's difficult to go there anymore and that's pretty sad because the food is usually amazing..As a couple we spend almost 50$ on two seasonal lemonades, two dinners and tip ..That's not the way to do business...Not at Cracker Barrel...I understand things went up in the past but lower some cost specifically in areas hit harder like Zanesville to bring in more people...I hope you don't ever close, but if you do I'll know why..You do walk out full, yes.. But you walk out hurting because the bill was so high and you couldn't even think about shopping around their store anymore...
