Cracker Barrel normally is a cleaner place to stop on the road & better food than fast food. The Zanesville location is an exception. Stopped on the way through last week & our waitress did not bring us napkins or silverware (we had to ask a hostess), or offer even one refill on my coffee, or offer biscuits or cornbread or bring plates to use for the biscuits we asked for (just left to put butter & jam on with our fingers over the basket). I ordered French fries, a tossed salad, & broccoli. The fries looked like they were either overcooked or warmed up leftovers from someone else’s plate. The lettuce was wilted. The broccoli was tasteless. Avoid this location.

Great service n good healthy choices of food. I eat here on a daily basis n get wonderful service. I had to lose lots of weight before a major surgery 8 yrs ago n since i work 5 days a week n usually eat out I researched which restaurants were the best for a healthier meal. So I started eating there since it was the one recommended. Been eating ever since. Here is the only place I will eat alone n feel comfortable at. I call them my Cracker Barrel family. Love the servers n I treat them well cause being a server is a tough job.

We have Dr appts in Zanesville. We go to Cracker Barrel afterwards to eat. It's down home food not fast food. We can take our time, relax, and enjoy a home cooked meal. In the winter we enjoy the fireplace.

HAVEN'T BEEN TO THE ZANESVILLE C.B. FOR TWO YEARS OR SO BECAUSE THE LAST FEW TIMES WE WERE THERE OUR FOOD WAS LUKEWARM AT BEST. SERVICE HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD BUT THE LAST TIME WE WERE THERE I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER WHO SAID THE TEMPERATURE OF THE FOOD WAS UP TO CORPORATE STANDARDS. HOWEVER, NOT BY THE TIME IT ARRIVED AT OUR TABLE. WE GAVE THEM AT LEAST THREE TRIES AND STILL THE SAME. OTHERS WE HAVE TRIED DON'T SEEM TO HAVE THAT PROBLEM. ISN'T IT THE SAME CORPORATION? TOO BAD; IT USED TO BE A GO-TO PLACE. NOW IT'S NOT GO FOR OUR FAMILY.

We ordered pancakes, eggs and sausage. We had three cups of coffee while we waited for our order. People who were seated after us were server long before we were. When our meal finally came the eggs and sausage were cold! Our order was not complicated so it should not have taken that long!
Shame on me this was not our first issue with this Cracker Barrel so three times and I'm out! Not going back!

Their Rainbow Trout was spot on, great taste and value
