picked up piggy pack for son's 18th birthday party. fantastic food. pulled pork, pulled chicken, brisket for meat and sides kickin beans, mac & cheese and parmesan potatoes. came with plates, plasticware, utensils for all the food and buns. food was delicious. would highly recommend grillin' Dave's for your next party or get together.
I will preface my review with this: I have been griling and smoking meats, seriously, for 15 years. Very few BBQ restaurants measure up to my exacting standards. For reference, Rodney Scott's in Charleston is one of the few. He is a Beard award winner.
We were hungry with limited to time to find someplace to eat. Knew nothing of the food options in Zanesville. As we drove by, I smelled the smoke. I love the smell of smoking meat.

The food was okay the brisket was very soft but kinda bland and lacked flavor the had 3 different BBQ sauces on the table which helped give it flavor but it still was missing flavor. The mashed potatoes and Mac-n-cheese tasted a little funny almost like they used spoiled milk to make them with. The staff was friendly but it seemed like most people were coming there for ice cream when I was there.
