The place is cute but the service isn't very good. There was only myself and one other table (4 people). The waitress was nice just hard to get service. The queso was cold. I wouldn't want to visit again.

Solid food and service for sure! It's the strange hours that hurt their rating for me. Doesn't open til 4pm half the days they're open. Can't even have tacos for lunch on Taco Tuesday...

Restaurant was clean and our server was great. The menu made all the options sound delicious so I was happy to make the long drive to meet up with my my friends in the area. Everything on the menu sounded fresh and vibrant. I chose a fish taco with a jalapeno cole slaw and planned to try another one later in the evening. The piece of fish was small. I didn't taste any jalapeno. It seemed like there was a big piece of green lettuce or kale that overwhelmed the fish and slaw. Worst of all, it was smothered with mayonnaise on top. I didn't see that described in the menu or I would have ordered without it. Mostly I got a lot of bites of kale/flour tortilla/mayo with a little fish and slaw at the end. I would happily pay more to have a yummier taco that resembled the menu description. My friends liked their tacos so maybe I had bad luck with the fish. We also ordered a flight of salsa and chips. The creamy jalapeno salsa was great. Chips were a bit stale. Roja and verde were bland. I was surprised by the limited options for salsas. Only four salsas for a taco place and no basic mild/medium/spicy? Funny enough, the chips came at the same time as our tacos and sides. Some people don't mind this, but I think most prefer to have time with a drink and chips before the main course. I ordered Mexican corn as a side. Again, mayo on top that smothered the flavor. I think I wouldn't have liked it even without the mayo. It seemed like something was missing and again, it didn't fit the server's description. My friend's cowboy baked beans were pretty good but didn't taste fresh. My cocktail tasted good, but I was surprised to see it served in a smaller glass, like one you would serve whiskey in. I would pay more to have a larger cocktail. Overall, maybe this was a one-off bad time, but I wasn't impressed. Especially being early evening on a Friday night in the summer with a manageable flow of customers (not too crowded but also most tables seated by 6:30). Seems like they were out of ingredients or cut corners in the kitchen. I hope they adjust the menu to reflect what they serve, improve their salsas, and attend to the details of the meals. Prices were great but again, I would pay more to have a better experience overall and leave feeling satisfied. I would like to see La Cabra survive and give Zanesville a good option for fresh, yummy food.

Wow! Some of the best tacos we have ever ate, the worst part is having to choose knowing you can't have one of everything. Well done, excellent food, service and atmosphere!

Was a wait time I'm line for door dashing. Otherwise appears to be a nice place and with maybe a small summertime person would be worth getting those orders in the dining area br much faster. Good

This place is one of my wife's favorite places to eat in Zanesville. The tacos are very good. I ordered steak nachos. The melted cheese and the steak were cold.Where this place shines is in the areas of drinks, service, and sauces. The drinks are well made and balanced. All of the staff was friendly and seems like they like their job. The sauces and tacos have great flavor. I would and will eat here again, but probably stick with tacos over nachos. Will add more to the review when I go next time!

Tried a taco sampler appetizer and the birria taco Thursday special. Tacos are well made with very nice flavor combos. We eat spicy on a regular basis and the food here is very mild to us.

Pretty decent all tye way around didn't really care for their spicy sauce. I pretty much thought it was a mild attempt and it didn't taste well. But the food was pretty good they staff were all friendly and the place was well done.. out of a rank of 10 I give it a 7 over all. Lower score than nine for their tragic mistake at a hot sauce.

Parking: Didn't like the parking it's across the street and linden Avenue can be dangerous to cross when you even have the right away..

We went after the lunch rush, we had the place to ourself. Very welcoming atmosphere, attentive and quick service. Food was good but could have been more seasoned, in my opinion.

Vegetarian options: I noticed 2 vegan options on the menu for the street tacos, one was jackfruit.

Kid-friendliness: There is an outside play area

This place is meh. I ordered the salsa flight with roja, verde, and creamy jalapeno. The roja and verde both were super bland! We added salt and the provided bottle of hot sauce to both of them to try and salvage but no luck. My mom ordered the birria tacos which were ok but the consomme was like brown water. My tacos were all ok.. just bland! Not spicy at ALL, either spices or heat. Plus all the tacos were served on flour tortillas, no option for corn.Ultimately the service was great, we gave a good tip, but we won't be back. Good luck; i really wanted it to be good for Zanesville's sake but it just wasn't.
