Just left the drive thru after being told they didn’t know when they would be able to take my order. After sitting for fifteen minutes, the drive thru guy told me my best bet would be to come inside to wait even longer. There was one car in line ahead of me and I recorded the entire conversation because it was unreal.

We’ve never been to one of these before and decided to stop on our road trip. We don’t eat fast food normally but we were pleasantly surprised to see that they switched over to beef tallow which is the only reason we stopped. Food was pretty good. Staff was nice and helpful to show me how to use the soft drink machine. Didn’t know you needed to scan your receipt qr code in order to make the machine work. Overall pretty nice inside as well. Would probably stop at one again.

Now that they've made the change to beef tallow to fry things in, it's definitely not the same. The garlic butter burger is still amazing though!

The burgers were excellent and not greasy like many of the other steak and shakes I’ve been to lately. The employees were fast and friendly with service.

You need to scan a barcode while getting your drink, this wouldn’t be bad if it worked with one person but two people are required due to it being broken. No one is cleaning the dining room so you have to sit at a dirty table.

The staff is friendly and helpful. My issue is the fact that I have to scan to get a drink or if I wanna refill. The least expensive item on your menu and the least expensive item for you. Is the most hardest thing for me to get. Did not enjoy this. I doubt I will come back to a Steak ‘n Shake again.
