Nothing fancy about the atmosphere. Good Caribbean music. Cook /owner is Caribbean. Delish fresh cooked food. I tried a yummy soursop drink that was homemade, It was delicious ! Give this place a try.

The food was insanely good. I don’t know how such a good Caribbean cook ended up in Zanesville but I am thankful.
I got the curry chicken with sides of sweet potato and fried plantain and passion fruit juice. The curry chicken was flavorful and soft, way beyond my expectations for flavor and preparation. I actually wish I got two servings now. I also wish I got the rice and cabbage (as recommended) because both my sides were sweet. The sweet potato pudding had such rich flavor though, so no regrets. The passion fruit juice is made in house so do not miss out on that.

The jerk and curry chicken were delicious and ready within a few minutes. The chicken was so tender! Both dine in and carry out options are available. There were also soda and drinks available that were authentic to the carribean. The owner was very friendly as well. Definitely worth stopping in

I had been wanting to stop for quite some time, and I'm so glad I did. It was a little slow when I got there at 3:30, but as the owner and I talked a bit and time went on, he picked up quite a bit of customers. I got the fried fish with the cabbage and the rice and beans, and it was excellent. Also, I had to throw in a side of potato salad and plantains . The plantains were better here than they were in the Cayman Islands. They were nice and sweet, so good. The cabbage was much better than what I could fix. But the star of the show was the fish, this is what the owner recommended to me. And I was not disappointed we ended up having such a nice chat. I highly recommend it. I definitely will be going back.
