My son and I stopped by Tom's Ice Cream Bowl for the 1st time today, and ordered a double scoop of Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. It was delicious 😋 😋 and hit the sweet tooth spot for sure.
Took grandkids for the first time 6 and 9. They loved it. Prices good, servings excellent.
The dumplings were hugh strips of heavy dough. Order was handled by trainee who needed more help with the menu items.
Maybe best for just ice cream.
Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl is a timeless gem with true old-school ice cream soda shop vibes. They’re known for their amazing selection of hard-packed ice cream, freshly roasted nuts, and classic diner-style food. The hot fudge sundae with marshmallow is my personal favorite — absolutely delicious!
The staff was kind and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. I did feel a bit out of place & unwelcome among some of the patrons, but the experience overall was still worth the stop. Tom’s is a piece of local history, and the ice cream alone makes it worth visiting.
Best cashews ever
Great food, reasonable prices, excellent service.
Wonderful ice cream, friendly staff, good prices
Not from Zanesville and decided to go here instead of going to McDonald’s for ice cream. When we walked in and told them we’re taking it to go, they walked away. Was looking at the menu since we didn’t know there was another menu closer to the ice cream station (literally a small menu in the corner) but there was this one worker that seems annoyed by us looking at the menu not knowing what to get. Don’t know if they’re not used to seeing foreigners but don’t come here if your not white bc they will look at you and be confused when you asked them a question like you’re supposed to know the answer. Ps the ice cream is not even worth the price and the attitude. Definitely Overhyped.
It's a great place to go. I just love it. If you're ever in Zanesville it's a must
Not go on Sunday. Great chocolate covered peanuts, ice cream, and food

Excellent place for ice cream and nuts. Numerous flavors for ice cream. I enjoyed Toms Traxs and the Ooey Gooey Cake. There all kinds of sweet treats for sale and sandwiches and such if you are hungrier. If you are close, stop in and enjoy.
Delicious as always, I love the no sugar added ice cream and the ribeye. Great service as well, great staff.
This is another stop on the Ohio Ice Cream Trail.
We decided to have lunch here before we indulged in ice cream. I had a hot dog and onion rings and my husband had the Monte Cristo. Mine was typical, I didn't expect spectacular, but my husband was really looking forward to his. Unfortunately, it wasn't great. When it said served with strawberry jam he wasn't expecting the jam to be Smuckers out of the plastic single serve containers you find sitting on the table at Waffle House.
The ice cream, however, was good. I had the Biscoff which tasted exactly like the cookies and there were cookie pieces in it. It could be the best flavor I've had! My husband had the Ooey Gooey Butter Cake and I liked it far more than he did. I thought there would be bits of cake, but there wasn't. It had nice butterscotch flavor ripples in it though. The portions are huge and the sundaes looked really good. Definitely something there for everyone.
The service was fair, but to be fair, those girls were hoppin'. They were serving inside tables as well as outside. We were lucky enough to get a seat right away but there was soon a wait.
The place was really cute. It is very vintage and we felt like we were at a place my parents would have visited when they were kids. There is a food counter, a candy and nut counter, and a large outdoor seating area. There are also vintage gliders where you can relax and watch the neighborhood while enjoying your treats.
Final take for me is that I would go again and again for the ice cream, but will probably skip lunch.
Our antique car club stopped for lunch. Di a great job seating and serving our large group. Waitresses were outstanding.
Great milkshakes!
