Toms is legendary. I've been going there since my dad took me the first time when I was five or six. Some might not know that they serve an outstanding, limited menu breakfast. If you are bored with your usual breakfast place visit Tom's in the morning.

Their walnut caramels are awesome, and they have the best ice cream around as well as freshly roasted peanuts, they are a must try if you come to the area.

I ordered fried bologna and tator tots, and my wife ordered a cheeseburger and waffle fries. The bologna and tots were overcooked/burnt, and the wife's cheeseburger was almost raw! Not very good service either. Yes, the ice cream is probably very good but we didn't stay long enough to try it! First time eating there and the last time!

dirty, bugs flying and dead in food / drinks (even during winter), hairs in food, bland recipes, unimpressive ice cream and snacks, entitled attitudes and slutty waitresses, over priced, small portions, slow service even while trying to checkout and leave, previous racist experiences from the staff. this place needs torn down and rebuilt from the ground up. there is no charm, it's just old and gross.

Tom's is a must visit when in the Zanesville area. I have been visiting since I was big enough to walk, and I'm 67 now.... Nothing has changed, maybe reappolstered the seat cushions, but it's amazingly the same for 60 years or more. Menu has expanded since 1960, but quality is the same. Get a #3 with crushed nuts.,. Yes will remember it forever!!!!
