I ordered two crunchy California rolls for two different people, for pick up. They were on one tray and we ended up having to share cause they said it was two orders. Next time you need to ask or separate the orders and very over priced for us to only get five pieces each. No thank you.
Do not eat here unless you want to get food poisoning and then be reported to the police for “harassment” when you try to call and complain. My family and I went to eat a nice dinner at Asahi only to be served food that tasted not fresh with wasabi that had a dark green crust on it. Asahi Japanese Hibachi & Sushi Bar offers delicious food, featuring popular items like chicken fried rice, steak and chicken hibachi, and a wide selection of sushi, hibachi, and rolls. Many customers have praised the quality of the food, noting that the portions are large and well put together. The atmosphere is friendly and cool, contributing to a pleasant dining experience, although some diners have expressed discomfort with the uncensored music played in the restaurant.
While there have been some issues with service, such as confusion with orders and reports of a few servers being rude, the staff is generally nice and quick. Although the restaurant does not have the type of hibachi that cooks at the table, meals like the steak and lobster hibachi come out hot and fresh. The restaurant is clean and spacious, and many customers recommend the tasty crab rangoon appetizer, even if some find it a bit doughy. Prices are considered high but understandable given the location in Ada. Overall, Asahi remains a favorite spot for many groups who enjoy returning for the fresh food and friendly atmosphere.
