Sam's Southern Eatery - Ada

We had popcorn shrimp with sides and it was all delicious! The server was awesome!! The restaurant is older but it was clean! Price was not bad for the amount of food we received!

Little out dated, but the service and food made up for that.

My family ate here Saturday afternoon and I was so impressed with everything! The waitress was friendly and super-attentive. The food came out fast, fresh, and hot. The servings were huge and I took half of it home with me. I'm looking forward to being back in town to eat here again!

First time ordering, it was delish!!! Portions are generous. Big ol 🍤 shrimps! Catfish was great. Hushpuppies had really good flavor. Loved it. Definitely will be having again.

The food was delicious and generous. The cook threw in bonus shrimp and hush puppies with my crab cakes. The waitress was attentive and friendly

We stopped in today after our kids field trip and the food was delicious and service was great!

Quaint little mom and pop place. Great catfish and hush puppies. The fried pickles were excellent.

They need to change the grease when they cook the chicken. It tasted like dirty grease. The chicken was burned and greasy. My dog would barely eat it. The service was excellent.

Food was excellent! Hot and fresh. We have not ever had a bad meal from Sam’s!

Got the family dinner 24 fish, hush puppies, Fries and added 12 jumbo shrimp. Food was delicious!

This is a good change from most other eateries. Everything was served hot, really liked that !
Fried catfish - excellent
Fried shrimp - (large size served) - good
Hush puppies - good, with bits of jalapeño
Fries - crispy and hot, very good
Sauces - seasoned tartar sauce, good and cocktail sauce, tasty
Decent service and reasonable prices for the amount served.
Restaurant could use a little interior updating, good food is the main focus.

Was one of my favorite places to eat but new owners change the food. It was not even close to what it was. Portion size is smaller and QUALITY was not nearly what it was. I was truly disappointed.

We tried this place again last night for the first time in quite a while. Under new management! YAY!! Food and service were superb!! Our waitress Lauren (?) was friendly and helpful. We had the grilled fish and shrimp and the Crab cakes, red beans and rice, coleslaw and hush puppies. Yum!!!
Large portions cooked to perfection! We'll be back!!

The chicken Philly was phenomenal. The sweet tea could have been a little sweeter, but other than that, everything was great.
