It's not a five-star restaurant. But the food sure makes you feel like you're there. Really have some good Mexican food. One of the top two places in altus for Mexican food
Being from south Texas one of my favorite dishes is Menudo; however since moving here to Altus I've missed it. Today, my taste buds wanted to thank you,Taqueria Hernandez; today I enjoyed your wonderful Menudo that was cooked perfectly! Gracias!

Fast friendly service. Nice staff, work well with each other. Nice small busy place. Good food. Good prices. Lunch specials. I had the taco salad was delicious. Salsa great not too spicy.Vegetarian options: You can have some dishes without meat
