“I love this place. It's 95% a local thing. Despite how many Mexican restaurants are in Alva, this was many of our first "Mexican" food we had. That's one of the reasons it's loved by locals. But hands down some of the nicest staff!!“

“This is about the only dine in restaurant I ever eat at In Alva. Brandy is my favorite waitstaff. She is very friendly and kid orientated. Food is always prompt and delicious. Highly recommend.“

“Stopped at 818 Diner after a long day of driving and it was excellent! We got the chicken fried steak, breakfast burger, and pie. Our server was fantastic and we loved that the owners were helping and asked how everything was. We’ll make the drive to eat here again!“
