Cafe Alley offers elevated bar and American fare in a repurposed industrial building. The atmosphere is good, and they can accommodate large groups quickly on weekday evenings. The service can be hit or miss, with some issues on the first visit but improved on the second. The food is good but unremarkable, with great flavor and presentation. Guests have enjoyed dishes like the Southern Favorite burger with sweet potato fries served with a sweet cinnamon sauce, and the Alley Salad with house vinaigrette. The soup of the day, such as chicken tortellini, is also well-liked. The restaurant is a beautiful hidden gem with very friendly staff, excellent food, and a nice decor. Don't miss out on their amazing carrot cake, which is considered one of the best around.
