“This is such a great restaurant! The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are all so sweet. Summer was our server, and she was so refreshing. Summer was professional and friendly, we had an amazing time and the food is exceptional here. If you haven't eaten here, you need to. ”

“Very very good dining experience. The food was very tasty home-cooked I had steak, eggs, grits, and some pancakes. Apparently they’re made from cornmeal the pancakes. It taste very good. Even the butter was good that I put on them. Waitresses were very friendly great atmosphere the owner of the place whose name is Phil Tabor used to play the New York Giants number 80 is a defensive lineman back in the early 80s. He walks around the restaurant greets people very friendly guy. We talk for a few. He gave me a sample of some grits because I’m not a big grit person being from New York but I really like them, so thanks Phil for turning me onto good grits in Oklahoma. I highly recommend this five stars establishment.”

“Food is very authentic - we ordered breakfast burrito & enchiladas. Servers couldn't speak English but we did lot of finger pointing on the menu and ordered easily. Burrito was enormous & delicious. Enchiladas were delightful with tons of gooey cheese. We enjoyed our authentic breakfast. It's a friendly establishments but hole in the wall type of a place. Parking space in the front, Porto potty in the back type of establishment. Bon appetite!”

The coffee was delicious and after I fished it I realized where I left my card. The OWNER picked up when I called and personally overnighted it. “This was a phenomenal meal! We ordered at the counter, and I was so excited about the BBQ Loaded Potato! My husband got the Oklahoma Sampler plate, and my son ordered the Chicken Tenders and a double order of french fries. Man, this place did not disappoint me! I finished every bit of that 1/2lb baked potato with cheese, chopped brisket, sour cream and chives with a dinner roll and the waitress Elena brought us some bread and butter pickles with a flight of BBQ sauces. My favorite was the spicy BBQ sauce, and my second favorite is the sweet BBQ sauce. I ate every single bite. I do believe I walked out in a food coma. It was so so so good. You have to get the sampler plate, too, because it has everything you could want in a BBQ plateBrisket, ribs, turkey, pork, potatoes, hot link sausage, and as if that wasn't enough to satisfy, they make this jalapeño butter cream corn that is to die for. Now... to brag on those chicken tenders! When they say tender, they aren't kidding. My son is on the spectrum, so he's a picky eater, and his exact words were "move over CE (Chicken Express). I've got a new favorite!"Let me just say it was all delicious. The service was outstanding as well! I can't wait to go back soon! And I mean very soon!”

“Wonderful, Relaxing with great food and wonderful service, This is the first time in about 15 years that I got to taste the wonderful food and salsa only EL Chico has. This was the Ardmore, OK store. The El Chico chain left Oklahoma City and I have missed it. My son is the same way and lives in the N Dallas area. We met in Ardmore and tried El Chico to see if it was as good as we remembered. YE YES YES !The food that was supposed to be Hot was Hot and the cool salad and avocado was the perfect temperature.The grounds and interior was very clean and the silverware was spotless.”

“It's a tiny place and during lunch time it is like standing room only. I'm here at 2:30 and had no problem finding a seat. It's a very old place like the old fashion diners and everyone loves it!”

He said it was cheese-filled tortellini with ground Italian sausage mixed in a pink sauce and that it was absolutely delicious. We both had (split) the Trio for an appetizer and loved it! We would both definitely give it a five 5️⃣. I had the Santa Fe Chicken and found it very average. I would give it a four 4️⃣ at the most and would probably not order that again. Based on our waitress’s recommendation, we ordered the carrot cake ? for our dessert and my husband said it was the best part of an already fantastic meal.Additionally, our waitress was very good! Her name was Taylor and she was very personable and did a good job!Overall, it was a very good first time dining experience! “My son Brandon goes there quite a bit but I have never been and he took me there yesterday and it's the best the very best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. “The Boba is great here !! Had vanilla milk tea with rainbow boba and it was great !! not over powering vanilla, and the multiple flavored and textured boba was a great addition. Prices were not too bad either. They have lots of variety to choose from and seemed to be a nice clean shop !!”

“I was very impressed by the young lady managing the store when we visited. She came out from behind the display case to help us. We were treated like we were there to buy the store, when all we were doing was looking at the discounted cookies. I wish I had the presence of mind to get her name, but if management wants to know we were there a bit after noon on Monday, Feb. 19th.The cookies are indeed colossal and very good. They are soft and chewy, instead of being hard and crunchy. Highly recommended.”

“My husband was craving some catfish and since we're staying in the area he saw the sign and decided on to go for it. We walked in and they have a cute little Christmas tree all decorated. Place was super clean with about 3 tables occupied. We went up to order and the gentleman taking our order was so kind and I could tell he didn't hate his job (which is so rare for fast food places). We got our drinks and our orders of catfish came out fairly quickly. We chose a nice booth in the corner and were able to eat and enjoy the Christmas decor. As we're eating a table go up and left and the gentleman who took our order immediately went and cleaned the table, very impressive if you ask me. Food was hot and fresh, delicious indeed. Last but not least the bathrooms were squeaky clean and smelt wonderful. If I lived here I wouldn't mind stopping in once or twice a month. Two thumbs up!”

I ended up making a visit with a couple friends a few days before New Year's, and really had a great time. The pool tables are well-balanced, the felt is taken care of on the table, it's free if playing pool is your thing. The bartender is attentive, warm, and fun to talk to. I've heard good things about the food here from multiple friends and acquaintances, but unfortunately I was not able to try it myself. They do allow people to smoke THC products, so if that bothers you or you are allergic I would probably avoid this place. If that isn't a deal-breaker, Ryan's offers the coziest bar experience you'll find in Ardmore!”

I tried the 3 sauces they brought in squeeze bottles but everything was already so flavorful I didn't feel they were needed much.I had the Mexican Dinner with cheese and beef enchiladas, cilantro lime rice, and refried beans. All excellent with a stand out in the beans.Others had the fried Avacado Tacos which were tasty and a great veggie option.Last was the Build Your Own Burrito. I really liked the options available for that and the chicken fajita one we ended up with was excellent.Great, friendly service from start to finish topped off the visit.
