“I ordered the 2 piece basket for my first visit. The Cole slaw was not minced but slightly chunky with a delicious, creamy dressing. The beans were well-seasoned, with a slightly thick (not watery) juice. The fries were fresh cut, skin-on, thin fries that bent instead of broke when folded - my favorite!. They were even tastier dipped in my leftover bean juice. My two catfish filets were perfectly cooked, meaty and moist. Service was top notch! The restaurant was clean. I'm definitely returning before I have to leave town.“
“Tonight was our first experience at Sam’s and we loved it. It’s definitely a don’t judge a book by its cover kind of place. My husband got the double southern burger and I got the shrimp po boy and both were cooked well and tasted great. The veggies were fresh. The fries were seasoned well.The man serving us was kind and fast.We’ll be back.“
“The first time we went the whole experience was top notch The 2nd time 2 weeks later food was great even though they ran out of catfish. however we got another waitress and not a good experience was ignored on drinks We will return at a later date.“
“Came here for the first time last week. Excellent hospitality. Clean restaurant and restroom. Presentation amazing. The snack #2 came with 1lb large shrimp, 1lb snow crab, 2 corn, 2 potatoes, and sausage. The garlic butter sauce was delicious as well as huge shrimp and crab legs. However the potatoes and corn were over cooked and the sausage was too spicy for my liking. While I waited on sea food I had 2 pieces of chicken which was fried to perfection. Hot crispy and flavorful. Will definitely return to try the fried rice and yes I will be ordering the crab Legs and shrimp again. Hold the potatoes corn and sausage. Definitely recommend“
