This restaurant is under new ownership called the rock service is so terrible I will never go back to this place you sit for 10 minutes before being served or even being paid attention to management of this new place needs to pay attention or this place will fail too

This place is now called the Rock. Great music playing while we were there so that's a plus. Didn't eat food. We were just having drinks. So thats why i didn't rate food. Plenty of TV's of you are looking to watch a game

Very nice atmosphere, staff was very friendly. It was late when we arrived,as we were traveling, thankful it was attached to the Holiday Inn! Great place will stop there again when we're in that location.

This is now called the Rock. It's the same people from Mill Creek Tavern.. The food was great. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. It has a large adult beverage area with prompt service.

This was our 3rd trip to Carter's. And LAST. I believe in second chances...so our first time was about a year ago, it's off the usual path of restaurants. It was good then. Then we went a few months ago. The drinks were great and the bartender was fabulous. The hostess let us know dinner (late lunch for us) wasn't being served for about 20 mins. so we waited at the bar. Time rolls around and the servers are at the end of the bar talking. Trying to get their attention after another 10 mins and the bartender gets them to bring us menus. They returned to talking. Another 10 mins goes by.....we paid our bar tab and left. This last time we walked in, there was already a group waiting qnd so we all waited together...for about 15 mins. Few other people sitting at tables; no servers or hostess in sight. We left.

Worst restaurant in Ardmore! Service was very slow and the burgers were awful. Frozen burger patties that they burned so badly I could only eat about half. It'll be a long time before I give them another chance.
Terribly understaffed. Waited an hour and a half for our meal. Stopped to watch the ballgame or would have left. Holiday Inn is wasting a great facility if they don't staff this place. Embarrassing.

Absolutely amazing. Definitely a place to come back too. Food was fantastic, no complaints. And when served by the very kind and few females that do work there, it's hard not to enjoy. The only thing I would say would be an issue is the way certain customers treat the workers. There should be rules and limitations on how much a customer can drink or how much they can act out before the tolerance the workers should remove people from the bar, VIP or not.

This is like a dive restaurant in a hotel. The staff, service, and food were poor. The catfish was tasteless and mushy. The dinner did not come with hush puppies as indicated. Upon asking, the several finally said they were out. I had to ask for a substitution. The server admitted that the gravy that was served with the mashed potatoes, thankfully on the side on not used, was powder with water added. The silware presented was filthy, and had to take another set from another table. Overall, this place is nasty.
