Found this place because of another google review. I ordered me some catfish with fries also came with a side of coleslaw and some pinto beans. More of a local hangout. Good comfort food.

I would describe this place as a Hole-in-the-Wall kind of place. It's tucked in a corner away from tourist traffic but looks like the locals know about it. Their fried catfish fillets are so very good, they are tender and fresh with just the right amount of seasoning that I didn't even want to add anything else to cover it up. I'd most likely go back again if and when I travel through this area.
Was recommended to try this place while in town. The catfish did not disappoint, I'm not a big fan of fried food but the catfish was fried to perfection, crispy and not greasy. Can't say the same about the fries, they weren't bad but nowhere near the best.
Ordered via pickup, everyone was nice and friendly once you walk in and pay for your order. Wish the coleslaw was packaged differently, in the styrofoam container so if it tips just a little your bag will be filled with coleslaw juice

This is hands down the best catfish, coleslaw, hush puppies and beans we have ever had. We had a lovely chat with the owner, Jim. Staff is so kind. We live near Fort Worth and will be making trips here to eat!

Just order food,as takeout, only to get home to find out order was wrong, called back ,only to be told to bring it all back to prove it, customer service sucks here, i will never give them my business and money again..be careful dealing with this business...

Ran out of the all u can eat shrimp not even a order and a half in couldn't even get full...
Service was ok they had hardly any staff understaffed and causing the business to be extremely slow was waiting 2 hours for 10 shrimp... Not gonna lie total waste of my time...

The food here was great. Best comfort food EVER. We were visiting and did not know where to go for dinner. Quick google session, and we found this gem of a restaurant. Marcy was our waitress, and she was amazing, so friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, I did not get any pictures. As soon as they set our food down, it looked so good we immediately dug in. I have to say we were all extremely satisfied with the food, the service and the price. It's definitely a must try when in Ardmore. When we come to Oklahoma, we usually stay at Winstar. However, the 30-minute drive is one I'm willing to make to have their delicious catfish, huspuppies, coleslaw, and fries. Huge shout out to Marcy as she played a major part in making our dining experience so awesome. ?
We stopped in for one of the lunch specials, my friend and I both had the fried catfish which comes with handcut fries? hushpuppies, three filets, a side of pinto beans and offered and received fresh cut onion and lemons. The tarter sauce was homemade and delightful, complimented the fish perfectly. Our service was good but giving 4 stars because there's always room for improvement, right? As far as atmosphere, the place is clean and I love the "old school" feel of the decor, took me back to my childhood, 4 stars on that is no fault of the restaurant or its employees. There was a 6top there within ear shot and one of the six was talking about another family member, not present, and the things she was saying were not, imo, dinner conversation and certainly not in public ?. It was intrusive and sad to hear the things she was saying about her family member. This is no reflection on the restaurant as a whole which i gave a 5 star rating! ??? to kitchen and service!
