Reading other recent reviews, I was apprehensive about trying this place, but my experience was pleasant enough. I was seated quickly, with satisfactory service. I had crab Rangoon and a volcano roll, which were both tasty.

Agreed with other reviews that there is a bit of a strange smell to the place, and the tables could use refinishing. Overall though I thought it was fine.

The food was good, we got sushi instead of hibachi. The service was poor, though. It's not a welcoming environment when you first walk in, they dont acknowledge you for a little bit. Then the waiter never checked on us once after we ordered. He stopped by only when we flagged him down- we had to ask for a bowl of rice that was supposed to be served with what we ordered. and then he gave us our check before even asking if we were done or ask where we were at. He then got upset that we wanted to order more.... also the floors were so slippery. I had to catch myself multiple times (thankfully) on things nearby. I slipped just trying to walk to the bathroom and then more than once trying to leave at the end. Very dangerous, I'm pregnant - heaven forbid an elder not be able to catch themselves if they too slip.

My daughter, grandson and I went to have dinner tonight. They had 2 tables. We did get to order drinks and an appetizer, but sat for 30 mins waiting. No appetizer, no one took our hibachi order. We asked to leave and pay for our drinks and appetizers. We left and looked at the appetizer and there was hair fried into the vegetables.
The place stinks. It smells like it’s been wiped down by a dirty rag.
We will never be back.

Food was great. They weren't very friendly though. I stood at the door for 10 mins before anyone even acknowledged me. Then only asked what I wanted. When I said a to go order, that was the last thing that was ever said to me.

This is the worst “Hibatchi” I’ve ever had. We prefer mixed vegetables and it was literally just cut up lettuce. Everything was individually packaged when it should’ve been cooked together. The Noodles looked just like store bought ramen. Wasted $40. Do not eat here you will be disappointed.

Wonderful experience! We had the firecracker roll and crab rangoon for the appetizers and then hibachi for dinner. Everything was awesome!

I can't eat their fish. It was taste like dirt or spores from something. Love getting tempura and hibachi stuff though. Good sushi doesn't exist anymore.

I will not be going back. I have diarrhea every time i have visited. This time was the worst. Im not sure what it is i order the chicken hibachi. My husband orders sushi. He also has bowel issues. Maybe we just can’t tolerate the food but now that its happened 3 times i cannot go back.

While I was deployed in Ardmore, Oklahoma, working long hours and climbing steep roofs, lunch often became a much-needed break. One afternoon, I decided to treat myself and ordered the chicken teriyaki bento box from Sakura—a decision that turned out to be a perfect midday recharge.

The bento box was a generous spread with an array of flavors and textures. The teriyaki chicken was tender, coated in a sweet and savory glaze with just enough richness to be satisfying without feeling heavy. Paired with perfectly steamed rice, each bite was comforting and filling, ideal for a busy workday.

The bento also included crisp tempura—light and delicately fried vegetables and shrimp—which added a satisfying crunch and balanced the meal nicely. A side of California rolls provided a fresh, cool contrast, and the miso soup warmed me up in a way only good miso can.

Overall, this lunch was a delightful escape from the grind of the day, bringing a bit of comfort and variety to my work routine. For anyone deployed in Ardmore or just passing through, I’d highly recommend the chicken teriyaki bento box at Sakura for a meal that’s both hearty and packed with flavor.
