I like going to starlight. It's usually a good time and not much to get in the door. If your there before 8pm it's free. The pizza is pretty good but what pizza isn't when you've been drinking lol. The bouncers are friendly as long as you don't cause trouble and it's not too hard to get a pool table. Bring your own stick if you got one.
Their Kareoke night has a D.J. that does not keep a good flow. There is a lot of silence, while folks are called up to sing. Songs that stop mid-song and mental errors. One of the guys they hire for D.J. night is awesome! He reads the room and keeps the vibe right. The club needs to find an identity and consistently. Due to that, the amounts of people who show up is hit and miss. They have entertainment (that cost more) some nights, so they lose the crowd that just wants to have...
Huge dance floor, 10+ pool tables, darts, 'down-home' eclectic crowd, no frills, karaoke, surprising variety of music
