“Kat's Tavern is a true hidden gem. I first heard about it through a local referral, and after a quick Google search, I decided to make the eight-mile drive to check it out. The most curious part? There’s no sign on the building indicating you’ve arrived. At first glance, it resembles a doctor’s office—just a lot of cars parked outside at 6 p.m. on a Saturday. I actually passed it before realizing, thanks to my map, that I had already arrived.

Kat's Tavern is a diamond in the rough. Inside, you'll find a mix of seasoned regulars and a younger crowd—including stunning bartenders Bernice and Caroline, who could easily pass for models. The bar doesn’t serve food, but you can order from local restaurants and have it delivered. The spacious patio is shaded from the evening sun, equipped with circulation fans, TVs, and a welcoming atmosphere.

One detail you can't miss: You can 💯 tell it’s owned by a woman (Kat) because the men’s bathroom is spotless. I didn’t check the women’s, but I’d bet it’s just as pristine.

Kat’s Tavern is small but filled with TVs at every turn. The music sets the mood perfectly—loud enough to enjoy, yet not overpowering conversations. The drink prices are the best I’ve seen in OKC, and unlike many bars in town, there’s no cigarette smoke inside—a huge plus.

Having recently moved to OKC from Dallas, I highly recommend Kat’s Tavern to anyone looking for a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back the next time the Thunder play and I will also become a regular there. It’s clean, inviting, and an all-around great spot.“

“I have been coming to monthly dance parties at the Speakeasy for almost a year now, and they are they most iconic thing happening in OKC! The DJ's selections are perfect and the crowd vibes are immaculate. This isn't for the influencer crowd, this is for the music lovers.

I've been to other bars/venues around here where the DJs and crowds just stand around and converse, but the Speakeasy parties are the closest things we have to a real Boiler Room or music festival DJ set in OKC. It's always packed and it's always RAGIN'!

On top of that, the bar itself is gorge and the drink prices are so affordable. It really is OKC's best kept secret.

“I went here for the first time today! They had Halloween decor that I really enjoyed. The vines are IMMACULATE if the vine your after is low key eccentric hope in the wall. The outside is unassuming and if I didnr knowing existed, I never would have found it. It makes you feel like your in on a secret, and the secret is excellent music mix craft beers and over all aura. As a person with high social anxiety, this was the perfect spot to unwind after a busy day. The bartenders were super helpful when I asked for suggestions and I even found an old favorite along with several new ones. If you hate good music, people and relaxation, don't come here. But if you're an introvert like me looking to semi socialize and drink good beer, you may find your new home away from home. I opted to park at the Bass Pro Shop and walk as I won't pay $20 to park anywhere in bricktown.“

“The bar and restaurant are in the Aloft Hotel in Oklahoma City. The bartender, Megan, at the Wxyz, was fantastic. She was very friendly, service was great, and she went out of her way to assist me. Both the restaurant, Levithate, and the Chef were absolutely wonderful. Some of the best food I have had. I highly recommend choosing that restaurant and bar if you are in town.
