Amazing tasting food, tiny portions though , it's more of a snack than a meal, but excellent tasting cooked by hand greatness. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick snack made from home on the go!

Different format now, but food is fabulous! Highly recommend. Now Take out only.

The service was great, the food was awesome, and the price was a little high. They gave free popcorn as an appetizer, which is unique to this restaurant. There were 2 big TVs playing to entertain during cooking times. This place is a "Mom and Pop" cafe, or in other words, is family owned, and I respect that because after Covid, a lot of smaller businesses went out of business and struggled. But this cafe made it through the struggle and is thriving. Hopefully, this place will stay open for many years to come!
UPDATE!: Unfortunately, the owners sold the place, and it's having problems with staff and other business issues. I was just told that they only serve one menu item per day, you need to make a reservation for the food, and there are only 2 employees. I hope they get whatever issues settled and reopen soon. :(

What the previous person didn't know is the cafe close Feb 8, 2025.

It was a wonderful place with wonderful people.

The owner sold everything, maybe someone is trying to keep it open and is struggling to get waitstaff and help.

It will be interesting to see what happens to this space.

Perhaps try a different place.

With my traveling experience I often understand that not everything is at it seems but on this occasion it unfortunately was. My family and I walked in and not a soul greeted us. Just looks from the busy cooks, hardly a glance from the staff running tables - it was a packed house so I completely understood. We sat, we waited and waited and waited some more. There was one table that appeared available but out of respect we knew to wait until it was cleared out. We were in no rush. Unfortunately though, this day and age you can tell when you’re unwanted and your money “is no good here”. The food smelled delicious, may come another time to try it but on a Saturday when they likely are understaffed and those who work there seemed horrendously unhappy with their own lives my advice is that it’s best to walk away.

We stumbled upon another restaurant right around the corner and not only were we greeted immediately but were asked to wait while they cleared a table for us! The energy felt different, the staff appeared more lively and the people seated you could hear laughing amongst themselves.

My hope is that Stray Dogs will offer a different experience next time I pay a visit. If I do. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth which is unfortunate when I enjoy supporting local diners.

Kid-friendliness: The service is great the person I met here was Elisa she is a very hard and good worker, the manager sees this she should get a raise, the good service helps with the great food I suggest going here. Oh and I’m a 10 year old boy, and Elisa thank you very much if you see this!

We had a waitress named BethAnn, she was like an angel to us, got the food order right, didn't "hover". Just really kind. My mom is handicapped. Bethann always checking on my Mom she is ok, but Not "hover" like some waitresses. Just really dru lucky to get BethAnn as our waitress this morning. Prices great also, $21 for a FEAST of breakfast. Best diner in OKC??--best we know. Hope we see BethAnn again
ADDENDUM: I should say $21 was the total for two people, and if you don't use smart phone to find these places, the easy way to find this place is just remember it's opposite the street from Southern Nazarene University and has a green colored overhang with white letters that reads "Restaurant".

The building was very warm I don't believe they have air conditioning, the food was awesome but our waitress literally sat around on her phone a couple booths over and completely neglected our table until I informed another waitress who got her to actually get up and do her job.
