OMG, worth the drive, so glad we found this. Had Cobb Salad with homemade ranch dsg. Best salad I have ever eaten!

So glad to find this place in Boise City. There just aren't a lot of choices here for dining out. This one is super. Good food. Good people. Clean. And just a cool vibe. Best place for going out to dinner in Boise City. Fun.

MJ’s Bar & Grille in Boise City is a gem and a diamond in the rough. It is a great place for lunch or dinner, with good food and good people. The Cobb Salad with homemade ranch dsg is exceptional, and the fajita Mac n cheese is some of the best Mac n cheese anywhere. The chilton drink is Bomb too. Salads are large, burgers taste amazing, and the fires are nice and crispy. The coffee is scrumptious, and the coffee drinks are delicious. There are excellent gluten free options including gf buns and gf breaded chicken. The chef has international experience. Everything is fresh and made from scratch. The service is great, the staff is amazing, friendly and welcoming, and the owner is good to talk to. The place is clean, with spotless bathrooms, and a cool vibe. It is fun and worth the drive.
