I take my family here almost every week. We LOVE this little joint! Always delicious treats!

Honestly I had a really weird experience here. We ordered two kids ice creams: one chocolate custard with m&m’s and another with Mint and cookie dough chunks. The cashier accepted the order and rang us up no problem. But when the ice creams came out, the m&m one wasn’t made with chocolate and the cookie dough one didn’t have any mint. My daughters weren’t too upset and I knew it was probably just an honest mistake. My m&m daughter didn’t care much so we left it alone but my mint daughter really wanted mint so I took it back up to have them fix it. It was only then that I was told they couldn’t do mint on the kids sundaes, which is fine, but they hadn’t told us that when we originally ordered. I said oh, with an obvious confusion on my face, so the really nice young woman Working offered to make us a concrete with just a single scoop of ice cream and mint and cookie dough. I said OK and she walked back and talked with who I presume Was the manager on duty; After a little back-and-forth, she came back up and started ringing some stuff up Into the computer. She then looked at me and very sheepishly said, “ That’ll be six dollars and such in such cents; they are making me charge you.” I was honestly really taken aback. It was their mistake; If they had told me initially that I couldn’t get a kid sundae With mint, I would’ve ordered the small concrete, Which would’ve been like a dollar more. But now in order to fix their mistake, they wanted to charge me six more dollars, And they didn’t even offer to refund me for the kids one that they sold to me in error. I said absolutely not, and I convinced my daughter that she would be fine eating just cookie dough, But it really sat weirdly with me. I’ve never had a food place refuse to fix their mistake; I definitely never had a place try to charge me to fix their mistake. All in all, I was just really disappointed With the interaction; Not necessarily with the young woman who Was trying to help me, But with the manager on duty, who I’m hoping just didn’t understand the situation but if he did, He clearly needs to have better training.

Came here for a quick treat while I was out. Very friendly and quick service, and a delicious chocolate custard with brownie mix in! Definitely glad I stopped here!

I love Andy's! The only suggestion I would make is it may be time to update the regular menu. I'm almost always getting limited time concretes.

Was a deep line in drive through at 10 p.m., but had an employee out there taking orders, as soon as we made it to the windows it was ready! Ate mine on the way home, was ready for another one as soon as I pulled in the driveway. Got the Cement custard, strawberries, with melted Choc. Chips..YUMM!

There was barely any toppings in my concrete the last 2 times I have went there. I mean a miniscule amount. Not going back.

Dear Andy’s Frozen Custard Team,

First off, I want to say that I love Andy’s and have been a loyal customer for years. However, I’ve recently had two experiences that left me deeply concerned — especially regarding food allergies.

On both visits, I ordered a Stolen Brownie Sundae with no cherry due to a cherry allergy. The first time, a cherry was placed on top. When I pointed it out, the team member attempted to scoop the cherry off and give it back to me. I had to explain that I’m allergic and that even traces can cause a reaction. Thankfully, she kindly remade the sundae.

Unfortunately, on my next visit, I again requested no cherry, but the sundae still had visible cherry juice on it. I informed the staff of my allergy and was asked to pull around. When a new sundae was brought out, the staff member who handed it to me seemed irritated, as though I were an inconvenience.

I’m sharing this because food allergies are serious and potentially life-threatening. Simply removing or scooping off allergens (like cherries or nuts) isn’t safe. Please make sure your team is properly trained on allergy protocols to avoid dangerous situations.

I love Andy’s and want to continue being a customer, but I hope this feedback leads to better training and awareness.
