Blue Plate Cafe Reviews
This place is disgusting. I do not recommend it to anybody. The chicken fried steak has no flavor at all. Took a while to get our food. Two different servers will definitely not be back to blue plate.
First time there on New Year eve. it was recommended by friends. We will return. I had breakfast. My wife had the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Both were excellent. The staff was excellent. It felt like a family setting, but everyone got along lol. They have been there only 6 months and have it all together. Proof that they also have good management. I repeat, we will be back. Blue Plate Cafe has a home cooked breakfast in an immaculate restaurant. The staff are warmly attentive and efficient, and guests are seated immediately. The menu has a good variety of typical diner dishes. Good meals include chicken and waffles with a berry compote dip, hashbrowns, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, cream gravy and green beans, and a respectable side salad. The food arrives quickly, piping hot and flavorful. The chicken is not dry, the waffles are crisp on the outside and tender inside, and the hashbrowns are crispy on the outside and steamy soft inside. The gravy is plentiful and the potatoes are scratch made. Prices are reasonable and the service is great, with a pleasant server who checks on guests the right amount of times. The atmosphere is clean, neat and cheery, a typical diner without being a greasy spoon. Guests found it a new breakfast cafe and will go back.
