“Definitely the best location I’ve ate at! Food was fresh fries were nice and crispy not floppy! Also the employees were very nice! I normally don’t eat wing stop often because the staff are pretty rude at other locations but amazing here! I will definitely start coming back to this location more often!“
“My fiancée and I just got out of the ER for two wholly different reasons, both hungry and tired. While waiting to be discharged, I was looking for open restaurants and Wingstop popped up.
It said they closed at 1 am, so I figured “perfect” because it was 11:40 pm and there’s one right by us in BA.
Except, I screwed up… the one by us closes at 12. The 1 am Wingstop is one by the hospital on Memorial.
So in we stroll right as it closed at 12:02.
They asked if we had an online order and we said we were wanting to put in one to go. Now, they had put their chairs up in the lobby which I should have noticed when I walked in, but I was so tired and worn out that it was only after their puzzled looks did I notice and put two-and-two together.
To their credit, the older gentleman behind the counter said, “I got you” and asked for our order.
We gave it to him, even though I then looked at my phone to confirm that, yep, this one is not open until 1 am and that was a different store… to which we apologize and tell them it’s fine, they don’t have to reopen their kitchen.
Again, he reiterates he’s got us. The other worker took our order as we explain what we’ve been through, apologizing again for the hassle but he was understanding. We paid, got our drinks and roughly ten or so minutes later (I wasn’t paying attention) we get our food.
And when we got it home, it was GLORIOUS. Tasty and hot in all the right ways, with the mild sauce on one set of wings and the lemon pepper on the other.
Thanks so much for putting up with two tired folks who’ve been poked and prodded by the healthcare system. It’s really appreciated.
P.S. Just because we got this treatment doesn’t mean anyone should go lolly-gaggling in to this location just as it closes and expect food. Frankly, they would have been well within their right to deny us service. I just want to highlight the kindness and fantastic service of the workers.“
