Had lunch here at HWY 66 Diner today and ordered Fried Green Beans and Beef Short Rib & Smoked Gouda Melt - with Caramelized Onions on Grilled Sourdough Bread. The fried green beans were spicy good (like they used either ground up Cheddar Jalapeño Cheetos or Flaming Hot Cheetos as a dredge.) The sandwich of buttered and grilled sourdough bread was stuffed full of short rib meat, onions and cheese — half a sandwich was plenty for me. The “Motley Fries” were good too. Visited today for the first time. The service was amazing. Baylee was very sweet.We had an "I'm lost and need directions" omelet, and a Fried Onion Burger. Both were delicious, and served in VERY generous portions. The burger came with fries that were a mix of waffle fries, sweet potato fries, and a couple different types of French fries...so awesome!The diner reminded us of 1960's Las Vegas.
