Oklahoma Joe's Barbecue & Catering - Catoosa

I orded a rib chicken combo, a $20 plate. It was the worst bbq food that I have ever eaten in my many years of eating bbq. The little strip on meat kind of stuck to the rib bones was dry, chewy and tastless, The small leg and little tiny thigh they gave me reminded me of the turkey the Griswalds tried to eat in the movie Christmas Vacation and trying to eat it had the same results. This place is going to have to do better. As for me, I'm never going back

We were from out of town so it was our first time eating here and it was the best barbecue ever! Nothing in Springfield, Missouri matches what you get here. Unbelievably good and great help as well!

If your use to the old KC oklahoma joes, dont come here, its like 3 day old KC oklahoma joes. I guess in the divorce of KC and OK , OK got the name and KC got the recipes and food. Sad

We stopped at around 4:30 for an early dinner before heading to the hotel. Service was incredibly friendly! My husband had a brisket sandwich with Mac and cheese. He said the Mac and cheese was nice and hot and had great taste and texture. I had the kids pulled pork with fried okra. I have a small appetite so I always appreciate restaurants that allow me to order from the kids menu. My pulled pork was excellent! I’ve never had okra fried whole before but it was delicious! After getting settled in the hotel we decided to order fried pies to be delivered. They arrived nice and warm! Definitely recommend stopping here!

Very down home comfortable atmosphere. Music was a little loud. Prices were the same as other places. It was clean and staff was friendly. I had 3 ribs and hubby had the biggest potato I've ever seen. I didn't care for my cole slaw. But next time, I will try a different side.
I do plan to go back.

Food was good, but what was better was Benjamin! His service was top notch and his personality and service was great! He had a smile on and made us feel at home. Ribs were great, smoked turkey was tender, smoked chicken was juicy. Fried okra batter had great flavor. Would definitely go back.

I was recommended Oklahoma Joe's by a friend who raved about it so I expected it to be good...it was even better! I've never had pulled pork that melted in my mouth like that. The lunch special was very affordable, I would have paid a lot more for that calliber of food. When I told Bonnie it was my first time she was super sweet and helpful so say hi to her when you try it out. The whole fried okra was a new experience for me and I can't wait to experience it again.

I had the ribs and they were cold with no flavor. Same with what my wife ordered. Only thing that was good and not cold was the okra.

Food is well seasoned, hot and filling!
Atmosphere is what it should be a place to be feed and converse, real food for real people.
Realistic individual meal cost is 15 to 25 dollars.

Went to eat there for last 2 nights while in town. Great friendly service by Benjamin! Restaurant was clean, food was hot and delicious. Ribs were excellent tonight.
