I like the '50's decor & the service is top notch! I've recommended them to friends. The fried mushrooms appetizer is hand battered goodness. But my problem is with the chicken fingers/fried fish basket. I'm not sure how you turn out the most golden perfect fried fish... then the chicken fingers appear way over cooked in "past time to change" oil. This exact thing has happened twice; once at Owasso and this time at Claremore. I'll keep going back for those golden perfection mushrooms...read full review
The waitress Shelby, was phenomenal! She got to us right away when we had not gotten to order just quite yet. She was very kind and up beat. She gave me a very delicious COLD Rootbeer in the classic ice mug. She let me and my significant other know what was the tastiest on the menu. It was so hard to choose as there was many delicious options!. She recommended the strawberries shake and just let me just say... The restaurant was packed when we arrived, and we quickly saw why: great service, delicious food and homey atmosphere. The chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly.
