I was not impressed with the menu selection, was not good food selection for type of atmosphere. Waitress did not offer drinks and had to order off sides to just get pancakes. WTF. Bummer for such a neat place.

First time visit. Hubby got hot beef plate which came out first and was cold. Mine was Pattie melt. Meat was very overbooked to the point of being blackened and rubbery. I have never had a Pattie melt that wasn’t juicy and flavorful. Maybe the cook has an off day. Wasn’t worth complaining about but a bad first impression. Service was good. Not going back for a second visit.

Cockroach cooked into the food! First time to ever visit this cafe. Looked like a normal Cafe that's been in business for many years. Well, the food was inedible. There was literally a cockroach that had been cooked into the middle of my Corn Muffin! When I pointed it out to the owner, she could not have cared less, then turned around and walked off from me. I immediately contacted the health department, and they informed me that this Cafe has been shut down "many, many, times before for health and sanitation reasons." They went on to say that "they are a continuing problem" and they would "go over there the following morning." The only thing that I would recommend is to stay away!

We had their turkey and dressing special with mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious except they put vinegar in their navy beans. The restaurant is very small so if you go at a peak time, you will have to wait. We went around 1 o’clock in the afternoon. They close at 2 PM. The staff was super friendly. Lots of ambience with the quaint old atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.

The food is good and has a homemade touch this different from any other Cafe. Some people may not enjoy the homemade touch as much as I do is why 4 stars instead of 5.
The atmosphere is of an old cafe if you like that vibe.
Parking: It is a busy part of town. I usually park at the free parking lot about a block east located on the north side of the street.

Stopped at Dot's Cafe today after attending a Funeral in Claremore. Waitress was friendly, the service was fast and prepared with lightening speed, and the chocolate pie was awesome! Nothing else required. Go visit Dot's.

The food portions are a good size. The Cafe is very small but has funny signs to read while waiting on your food. Our sever was not too friendly but the owners were great. There is no bathroom in the Cafe itself, you have to go through the kitchen and out the back door, then there is a bathroom out back.
Parking: The parking is downtown Claremore, so if there is a spot open then you can go eat if not you will have to either wait patiently or find elsewhere to park.
