This place is absolutely worth stopping in Clayton for. The food is incredible, and the pie... OMG the pie. Dude, I'll go to Clayton from Dallas JUST for one of those pies. Also, the people are super chill; makes it feel more like you're at someone's home. 10/10 will try again.
This is now the "The Southern Stark." These are new owners, and they are great. The respect my family got as we were trying to pray over our food while the new owner was going around and checking on customers was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed meeting and getting to know them, as my husband and I stop in all the time there to eat on our way to and from Texas. The food is great.
