Interesting, lively atmosphere. A tight community of all age ranges supports this restaurant and bar located in two buildings separated by a small parking lot. Busy was expected for a Friday night. However, please don't assume everyone who walks in to know the general rules of the establishment. Food was served piping hot, but a little bland for Mexican style. Glad it wasn't too hot because the server had to be flagged down twice to refill sodas.
Parking: Somewhat challenging. It's a mixed parking area for vehicles and golf carts, which is very conducive to the local community. However, minimal lighting makes it tough to see clearly, especially when unfamiliar with surroundings.

This is a small lake place that does a good business and serves good food in my opinion. Like many places today, sometimes service is slow because they have trouble getting help. We love coming here!

Had the taco plate, it was good. On this day, the service was a little slow. AC was not working properly. Have ate here a few times, food has always been good.

Twice in one weekend we experienced poor service at this restaurant. They told us the wait would be 40 minutes, we waited an hour and a half to be seated. During our wait multiple tables we left unfilled. I had to ask multiple times when we could be served. Our waitress was rude and sarcastic and ignored our table. We had to ask for our drinks to be refilled and etc. They also messed up our meals with no apology.
I understand restaurants get busy but this was not the case. It is poorly managed and the staff are extremely rude.
Do yourself a favor and do not go there.

Recently they have really stepped it up! We enjoyed the options to sit outside. The margaritas have been upgraded too!

Juan Montez has both a restaurant and a standalone Cantina. If you’re up for a night of great fun, come on the weekends and usually have a DJ or Karaoke or both! So much fun and we love it here… big advantage is that it is accessible by boat. Red Arrow Marina on Grand Lake in Cleora,OK!

The waitress let some homophobic table come up to us and threaten us. After confrontation, they proceeded to ask us to leave.
