“First Cup This morning I had my first cup of this day at the Ground Floor Café on the beautiful campus of John Brown University. El Socorro Honey Maracaturra from Guatemala. A delicate, sweetly tart with juicy, high-toned acidity..., a lively cup indeed. Here is the description from Olympia Coffee. “Honey Processing leaves a bit of coffee cherry intact after pulping, skipping fermentation altogether and allowing the coffee cherry's natural sugars to marinate into the bean while sun drying. The result is a lush, fruiter version of what is already one of Guatemala’s greatest coffees.” Olympia Coffee. To be crystal clear, it is my earnest opinion that there is not a better place in our immediate territory for a finer cup of coffee than the Ground Floor. The staff are simply the best. Their commitment to consistency, the highest quality of process, without compromise is outstanding. I can lead a horse to the trough, I cannot force the horse to drink. “First off, the fries are the best! Everything seems to be freshly prepared. You can pick and choose what to add on the burgers. Prices comparable to others in town but worth it on the fries alone. We went between 2-3pm and it was not super busy. Recommend giving it a try.”

“This is a cool place. I met some Brazilian dude with a red sword. He's very chill. I also ate some sandwiches with him. But I didn't bring any money, so he took out his red sword and slayed my left arm and destroyed my right eye. I saw big cars outside, the Brazilian dude let me go and called me a "lucky devil", after that he fled. It's a good thing that I can still see though...”

“We visited this restaurant for the first time on a Wednesday for an early dinner. The service was very good. We had the buttermilk chicken and a Caesar salad. Both were very good. The chicken was the largest piece that I've ever seen yet it was tender and juicy. Also the menu prices were very reasonable.”

“I’m a chicken and sweet tea aholic and the east Siloam Popeyes is horrible in every way and this is the best bone in chicken and biscuits I can find anywhere I’ve tried and I’ve never been unsatisfied here.

I frequent the place often and I’m heading there now actually. The ladies are so sweet and kind and take care of us all.

There to eat every week and sometimes twice or more because know I can count on being happy there for the past three years now since I moved to this side of Oklahoma.”
