Karen's Country Kitchen is a little hometown diner in Collinsville known for its excellent food and service. Despite being busy, the friendly and attentive staff ensures quick service. The diner has a welcoming group of ladies, including the chef, who make every visit enjoyable. Popular dishes include the chicken fried steak and eggs, breakfast scramble, home fried potatoes, and biscuits with sausage gravy, all promised to deliver a marvelous breakfast experience. The coffee is served in thick little mugs that keep the brew hot, and a waitress is always on hand to refill cups. With a big menu, daily specials, and fair prices, it's a place where everyone seems to know each other. Karen's Country Kitchen is definitely worth a visit and a return trip in the near future.
