New owner, Julie is a very nice lady and is very excited about her new venture. This is a great little neighborhood bar. The clients are all friendly to first timers, which we were. We'll be coming back a lot
We were on a road trip staying in Maggie Valley and just wanted to have a nightcap. This was the only bar we saw open in what seemed like the whole county. This establishment serves food so there is no smoking inside though they accomidate smokers on their small but pretty nice patio area. My Knob Creek was made well but my SO said his Amber Bock tasted a little off. We saw this was a heavy Bud place and I joked that they spliced it to try and get people on the Bud train. I absolutely love this place. Julie, the owner, is the nicest person around. I was just RVing at Waurika and stopped for a few beers. Everyone treated me like family. Heck, they treated me better than family.I look forward to the day I can come back.
