“Fantastic food and decent service.
First and foremost, this is the only Chinese place in the OKC area that we've been willing to visit a second time.
The food was always absolutely perfect. And while the service leaves something to be desired, it isn't bad. The biggest issues are that sometimes they don't answer the phone and they are still doing takeout only.
But, be that as it may, the Mandarin is still the best Chinese food that we've found.“

“I'm new to Oklahoma and I've been searching for some good Chinese and I found it. This place may look like a hole in the wall, but the food is amazing, it's always hot and fresh the portions are hefty and the prices are unbeatable. This is the only place I get my Chinese food from, no other places can compare. The drive-thru is always packed, so that should tell you something.“

“The best Chinese food for the best prices in Oklahoma City. Service is great, it's a little slow when they are busy, it's a drive through only as it's always been but the building is in pretty bad shape by looking at it, almost resembles an abandoned building, but it's not and they are still cranking out delicious food.“

“I thoroughly enjoyed lunch at King Wok, located at 3616 NW 23rd St. This hidden gem serves delicious Chinese cuisine at an unbeatable value. I opted for the Sesame Chicken/Honey Chicken combo, which came with rice, an egg roll, and a can of soda - all for just $9.76. The food was outstanding, with generous portions and flavorful dishes.
The service was efficient, and the staff friendly. I highly recommend King Wok to anyone craving authentic Chinese food without breaking the bank. I'll definitely be back! King Wok has earned a well-deserved 5/5 stars.
Parking: Parking lot a little small“

“Food was excellent. I had the General Tso’s and it was exactly what I was needing in the moment. I was just driving by, but I’m thankful I stopped in. Food was ready pretty quick as well.
I forgot to get a picture until I had already been eating for a bit.“

“I’ve been coming here since I was young and the food has NEVER disappointed. The baby beef egg rolls are addictive, so be prepared to buy more than one order. I’ve only ever had #7 because… if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it… so in other words the sweet and sour chicken is ??.“

“My husband and I stopped by for lunch around 1245 today and we had a very good experience! It’s been twenty plus years since I stepped foot into this business and I have to say that the food was good and fresh.
I prefer a smaller locally owned restaurant like this and after today’s lunch, we’ll be back!
Crab Rangoon is how I remember it to be not like some places now that add sugar?
General chicken was delicious as well as the garlic chicken!“

“It is drive thru and cash only. Before my mom passed away all we could get her to eat was their chicken fried rice. I havent been in a while and went by tonight. I spent $25 and there is soo much food. I forgot how big their servings were. We got two combos and chicken fried rice. Each combo had rice and an egg roll. I ate like a third of my sesame chicken and rice and egg roll and there is so much left. I called in the order and went straight there (10mins away) and it still took a bit to get the food but it was worth the wait.“

“For Sunday lunch (Dim Sum), the place was packed, which was a good sign. To start, the Har Gow were disappointing as they fell apart. The Soft-Shell Crab was awful because it was cold and hard like rocks. The Congee met my expectations. The waitress recommended a Curry dish that was really good. The Shrimp Rice Noodle Roll was okay, though the texture could have been smoother. My favorite was the Beef Tripe, as it had a nice crunch and was flavorful. Overall, it was worth going for authentic Chinese and Vietnamese food, but the quality ranged from excellent to poor.“

“I’ve been coming here for a while. Never fails me. The dumping soup is the best I’ve ever had. The broth is so delicious. I called in and picked up my food late then went and got a smoothie and by the time I got home my food was still hot. Not to mention I didn’t notice I dropped my card in the parking lot and they called me back to come get it. They literally much have went back to the name on the card or something and called me. I appreciated that.
Sweet/sour chicken. shrimp fried rice. Dumpling soup. Egg drop soup.“

“Love this place. Lots of vegan options. Lots of flavor. We usually get mapo tofu, kung pao tofu. They also have salt and pepper tofu, sesame tofu, and many other vegan dishes. The scallion pancake, cucumber salad, fried spring roll and sesame balls are also delicious dishes that we frequently get. The prices are great too! Lunch special filled us up for $11 each plus we had leftovers to take home. The restaurant is always very clean and a lovely atmosphere.“

“My first time having Mandarin Chef and it won't be my last. The service is polite and the food fantastic with plenty left over for seconds. More of a call-in and pick up eatery, I waited less than 10 minutes for my order and with all the food we ordred, the price was less than $30. Thank you all for your hard work in preparing great dishes*****“

“We went on Christmas Day. They were packed but seated us fairly quickly actually. Food was amazing. Keep in mind this is family dining and the portions are enormous and meant to share. Very reasonably priced. Five entrees with appetizers and drinks was $100 and we definitely left with more in our to go boxes than we ate. Money well spent! As busy as they were, the staff were so so great and quick to refill drinks. 10/10 recommend!“

“I'm conflicted because the food I got taste good. However, smallest chicken wings I've ever seen pic attached penny for scale.
Shrimp eggroll tastes good but had no shrimp in it. But more importantly it was cold on the inside, like refrigerator cold.“

“Let me start by saying this- I am an extremely picky pregnant person lol. I've been having a hard time finding anything lately that sounds remotely close to edible- but I decided to give this restaurant a try after reading the reviews on Google maps.
I got the sweet and sour chicken entree with fried rice, and 4 chicken egg rolls for $17. This was the perfect amount to share with my fiance, and then save some for leftovers.
The portions were HUGE. You're definitely gonna get your money's worth here. I received an entire container of chicken, a massive tub of sweet and sour (more than I could possibly use lol!) and the rice was PACKED into a lil takeout box. The only thing I will say is that the egg rolls were a tiny bit smaller than you would usually see, but what they lacked in size, they made up for in flavor.
Everything was served HOT, and tasted great! I have to say, I've never had an egg roll that tasted this way, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It had more flavor than your typical egg roll, and I'm glad I ordered as many as I did.
Finally, the service was phenomenal. I was greeted by a very nice lady, and the staff was very attentive while taking our order. We were outside near the taco place next door, and the lady who greeted us even took our order out for us, going the extra mile. The food was packed very nicely into bags, nothing was leaking or spilled over. In all, I would recommend this place to everyone, and I've definitely found my new favorite go-to.“

“We went here for the first time last night (a Friday night), since our longtime sit-down Chinese restaurant changed to takeout-only during covid and never opened up their dining area afterwards. Sadly, the place wasn't busy at all for a Friday night during the prime evening rush. This worried us a little bit. However, our group tried the eggrolls, Mongolian Beef, Sesame Chicken, and General Tao Chicken. All the main dishes were fantastic and the portions were more than we could eat. The eggrolls were good, but not as good as our favorite restaurant. None of us cared for the fried rice at all. Opposed to what I read, they are no longer selling pop by the can and have a soda dispenser now. Our server was very nice, and he was very courteous and attentive. Their menu is HUGE. There were so many things that sounded delicious, so we cannot wait to try some different things. But since this was our first time here, we stayed with the dishes we knew to start. We will definitely be back to try more dishes. Hopefully they change their fried rice. The rice was the only downer of everything we had. I have to say though, for Chinese food, this place is a little more on the pricey side at about $20 per person. But at the same time, you have a very nice dining experience (nice restaurant locations don't come cheap) and you get enough food for 2 meals. Hopefully they can lure in more customers and, as a result, drop their prices a little to be more in line with other Chinese restaurants. I think they will struggle being in Del City at their current price point. Inflation has gone rampant, hitting everyone's wallet, and there's tons of cheaper options on SE 29th if you're cool with taking the food home.“
