Warm staff, cold drinks, hot food — perfect!
Called to make reservations. Lady told us we’re not busy. We checked in our room right before storm hitting. Take wife and kids there. For a guy to tell us sorry. He don’t have reservations until nine and they have plenty of empty tables. It’s a shame because I was just there a week ago and we had an $800 bill there. I won’t go back again.i mean guy comes in with his family. He could us have us table. Specially on Sunday after 8pm. It’s a shame because food was great and service was last time I Was there, but unfortunately, it only takes one person to ruin it. So we went the next day family wanted to go because they enjoy the food so we made reservations and manager gave kids free dessert. We was upset because my wife called and told us we didn’t need reservations because they was not busy. For future make reservations unless your setting at bar
My fiancé and I came to 1832 Steakhouse on Sunday, May 1 to celebrate our anniversary. Let me start by saying the food was outstanding! For starters, we had the lobster bisque and crab cakes. The bisque was super rich and flavorful while the crab cakes were packed with a ton of crab meat (thank you)! For our main, we shared the 16oz ribeye, and the flavor and tenderness were exceptional, probably one of the best steaks we’ve had.
That said, the service was unexpectedly slow, especially for a quiet Sunday. We waited a hot minute for our starters to arrive and then only had about 15 minutes to finish before our steak arrived (felt super rushed). When our steak did arrive, it was lukewarm with unmelted shallot butter on top. For an $82 steak, I would have expected it to be served fresh off the grill, piping hot, and ready to impress from the first bite.
I will also note that several menu items were sold out, likely from the weekend rush, so I’d definitely recommend securing a reservation for a Friday or Saturday when the kitchen is fully stocked. The food is worth it, but the service needs to match the fine dining price tag.
We had some appetizers at the bar and Blake was our bartender. He was engaging, helpful and very experienced. He helped with drinks and apparently either created some of all of the specialty drinks. Crab cakes were some of the best we have ever had and the caprese salad was also fantastic. Drinks were perfect and we are looking forward to going back soon!
Melanie was a great waiter. Another server brought our entrees when we were half through our salads and shoved things out of the way to put them down. She did not remove my wife's salad plate until asked. My medium rare steak was cooked on the well side of medium well. I have never sent a steak back in my life, but this was an $87 steak and when Melanie asked how it was, I said it was over-cooked and she agreed. She sent it back and while my wife finished her dinner, I waited on my steak. When it arrived, it was, of course, cooked rare. Melanie did comp our dessert but the meal we looked forward to was overall, very disappointing.
We had the best time with Evelyn our server for starters. The crab cakes rate in my top 5 I’ve ever had. My steak was cooked to perfection. The sides were absolutely delicious… I can’t say enough about our experience there. But most importantly as I mentioned above, Evelyn made the 1832 experience 2nd to none!
Shawn and Jeanette were awesome! And SO WAS THE FOOD!!!! Amazing food and service! We have a tiny Vegas near lake texoma and I love God’s Country here in Oklahoma!!! ?❤️???????

A group of 15 of us headed here for dinner one night after work as many of us had not been here before. Even with this large group we had no problem at all being seated. Our server was very friendly and attentive as she dealt with all of us. I ended up ordering the chef's cut with a peppercorn crust and the mashed potatoes as my side dish then the toffee bread pudding for desert. The steak itself was cooked well and the crust was amazing while the potatoes were light and fluffy. The pudding was an excellent way to finish off the meal as the flavor and the texture of the pudding was just perfect. A great experience from beginning to the end.

Absolutely fabulous! Steak, chicken, whipped potatoes, Mac n cheese, drinks...everything was great. I didn't have high expectations going in because I'm usually the one that says Texas Roadhouse is cheaper and better lol; but this place was amazing, it is pricey but worth it!

The bread was good and the steak but the lobster macaroni a little overpriced for the flavor in my opinion. Clean and nice place, spent about 130 bucks roughly.

10 minutes to be seated took 20. Once seated, we ordered wine, water, and dinner all at the same time. The wine, water, and bread arrived, but after waiting an hour, we had to ask about our meal. The waiter said it would be ready in 2 minutes, but 10 minutes later, we had to call the manager. We finally got our food after 1 hour and 15 minutes. The ribeye and mushrooms were too salty, the asparagus were the size of udon noodles, and the baked potato was decent. However, the salmon was overcooked, and we didn't finish our meal. The manager removed the mushrooms from the table. The meals was comped, less alcohol. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
This is the worst steak house I have ever been to. First off, the waitstaff was completely incompetent The only thing they did right was take our order. It went downhill from there. We had a party of 8 people and they could not figure out whose order was who’s when they brought the food out. We each initially got served something different than what we ordered. Once we traded dishes amongst ourselves to finally receive what we ordered, It was easy to see how poor quality the meat was before even cutting into it. You should be receiving prime cut meat for the price you’re getting charged, but you are lucky if it’s even select meat. Seriously, this meat was of the poorest quality. Then once cutting into the steak is where it got worse. Everyone’s steak was cold and overcooked. Two of our party couldn’t even eat it. Two were sent back because it was so cold and the restaurants remedy was to put it in the microwave and serve again. Finally the manager came to our table and he was the most incompetent of them all. He actually said he was getting different stories of everything that went wrong and apologized and said please give us another chance while still charging us the full $1,500 for the complete barnyard explosion experience we had. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs. You can seriously get a better steak down the street at Applebee’s.
