“A busy cafe atmosphere, very friendly staff, we visited on thanksgiving on our way to a family event in northern Arkansas. Their turkey and dressing was a great choice. Husband had chicken fried steak and had no complaints. They have a great selection of homemade pies. We will visit again if ever in the area. We were thankful and blessed that they were open on Thanksgiving.”
“They are always the friendliest people. They get their coffee and food out fast! Not to mention everything is organic.Dietary restrictions: They even have a GF/vegan cookie!”
“The food was delicious. I had the enchiladas with Queso on top they use the white cheese, and it was fantastic. My husband had the enchiladas and tamale plate, and he loved it.Our waiter, Antonio, was just fabulous. Definitely would eat here again if up in the area!”
“Roma is a must when we are in or anywhere near Durant! The food is amazing! We love everything we have ever tried there. Love the take away meals, especially the lasagna! We have never had a bad experience here.”
“Got a summer salad with blueberries, pecans, spring greens and smoked chicken which was wonderful! I appreciated having a different and lighter option. Hubs had traditional BBQ which he really enjoyed - he got mashed potatoes as a side which were OK but he raved about the brisket, chicken and beans. My son got a fried chicken sandwich, it was also outstanding. Well fried and seasoned with crispy bacon. He got fried okra as a side and they were tasty, fresh and hot. Definitely will go back next time we visit the kiddo - wish it was in our home town.”
“We had a good time here, the food is pretty good. Expect a high quality diner experience with a bit of a wait time. The Food came out hot and perfect. The homemade meatloaf was something that tastes like someone pulled it right out of your childhood, nostalgic. The service was a little slower than expected but wasn't unreasonable, there were two servers for the whole restaurant, ours knew some folks in front of us so I felt as though we were a little ignored.Overall I would recommend it if you wanna have a nice little blast from the past and need some good food.Parking: Parking is on the side across the alley or in front of the building for pick up.”
“Family friendly atmosphere, amazing, personable staff, dogs allowed, their own amazing brews and now recently they’ve added literally the best food in town?! If you’re not already coming here, you are totally missing out!!”
“You won't find a more authentic Louisiana experience like this anywhere around here. If you haven't eaten here you haven't eaten at all. OMG, it's SO good!!”
“Breakfast are delicious and bountiful. Sandwiches and salads are also a good choice. Our local restaurant has efficient, friendly staff. They are always busy cleaning or waiting on customers.”
“I asked for no onions and no jalapeños and they did just that for me. The burrito was so good. Big enough I shared with my mom for a light lunch.Parking: They only have 3 parking spaces because they are in a strip mall. When they are busy, good luck getting a space. You can always park at the grocery store nearby and walk 100ft to get there though.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair access.”
“Good (not great) pizza but the buffet pizza style they serve is a great value for a family. They will make you any pizza you like! Great staff and their dessert pizza and salad bar is excellentKid-friendliness: Small arcade and tvs for kids”
“It was mediocre. Food was okay. Their white quezo and chips were good though. Their music uplifts the atmosphere. Staff were welcoming but very slow. It wasn’t too busy during this hour; only 4 tables were occupied but too slow to get our drink. We’ve ordered “the 3rd st special and chile relelleno””
“Stopped in on our way to Dallas and so impressed!! The food was so good, the service was so fast we couldn’t have been there more than 35 minutes, and the portions are huge and sooo reasonably priced!!”
“We stopped here for a quick lunch. It was awesome! Great little hidden gem. Food was so good had to bring some extra home from our trip. Server was very nice and attentive. Prices were great and the amount of food you got could easily be shared. We will definitely be back when in town and if you're passing through, make sure to stop by this place. You won't be disappointed!”

“Wonderful meal at 1832. Fantastic waiter - knowledgeable, friendly and always available. Lovely decor. French Onion soup was wonderful. Perfectly flavored with right mix of onions, bread, broth and cheese. Husband said his wedge salad was great. Filet with peppercorn Demi glaze was cooked perfectly and delicious. Husbands NY strip steak was huge and flavorful. Sides (baked potato and roasted Brussels sprouts) were fine. Over-cooked the Brussels sprouts; but was edible. Delicious cheesecake for dessert. We will be back!”
